Pinny
Very sad news. A good rider on his day, crazy how you can go from scoring 11 points one day to deciding to take your own life the next. must be the 4th or 5th Pole to do so within the last 15 years? RIP. Shaggy
Tomasz reportedly took his own life last night and was found this morning. Thoughts are with his family, friends and anyone affected by this tragedy. 1979 - 2018 May he keep ripping it up in the sky Edited August 14, 2018 by Shaggy

Bartosz Bietracki (2017) although he wasn't an active speedway rider when he took his own life, I believe he retired one or two years earlier. Add Matej Ferjan to the list above and you have a solid team, unfortunately. RIP Ogór

Pinny
Didnt Ferjan have recurring arm or leg injury? I think it was rumoured he had comitted suicide but later confirmed it was a blood clot or something similar

Daytripper
Terrible news. I remember Tomasz riding for Lakeside in 2008 . A really nice guy . One of the outstanding memories of all the years I have followed Speedwáy is Tomasz beating Leigh Adams in the 2008 play off semi final at Lakeside, passing and repassing throughout the whole race with never more than a bikes length between them, and Tomasz just getting it on the run in to the line. So sad that this sort of tragedy should come upon such a nice man and such a great competitor .

steve roberts
Never saw him ride but tragic news...seems especially poignant in that a number of Polish riders have taken their own lives over the years. RIP
