ruckerroo
I feel sorry for jack smith tbh, i know rosco says his spot in the teams secure but his confidence must be shot. well done to the aces on a fine win

Mattfordfan
Justice. Ridiculous how BV could have run with R/R or a dodgy guest that may not have tried because of the stupid rules.
Ovalman
Batch top rider again, Morra not good enough, well done to Belle Vue, 2 wins two nights running in the West country.
Mattfordfan
Jack Smith gets a lot of stick on here. But there are 2 reasons why Swindon have failed this season and 2 only 1. Morris over Doyle. Morris only had a good year last year because the pressure was off in the big races. 9 times out of 10 you knew Doyle was going to do the business. 2. Signing Bellego on a ridiculously high average that he wasn't going to achieve. Poorly built side at the start of the season. That was top heavy. thecoombdog
Dreadful performance on a dreadful track. Bend 1 a joke. Speedway is the absolute pits in this country unless you are lucky enough to attend the NSS every week. Bewley class in 15. Batch showing the first signs of normal service being resumed when he let Brady past. The season started well but has ended in massive mediocrity. Let's just hope we have a team to support next season.
orion
Well done to Belle vue by far the better team .You have to wonder why they have found it so hard this season as they are a decent team and if they can the make the play offs they have a great chance of winning them .Great to see Bewley ride so well .he started off slow but once he got to grips with the track he flew and was mustard in heat 15 .Swindon were poor and lack any fight for the job in hand .Why do we carry on with Jack Smith ? ok there is not much out there to replace him but he is unlikely to beat another rider so what's the point . Losing a key rider in Steve Worrall is the reason they struggled but he’s getting better & they are hitting form at the right time. Swindon peaked in May. The Aces are certainly the most in form team at the moment. They were bang out of form last week and even more so Monday! They are the most in form team Of the past 48 hrs. So many teams in then out of form this season. Crazy.
Speedy swindon pete
Funny Kurtz helping out with potentially getting BV into the playoff. They’re a bloody solid side. Look a lot better than Poole. bend 1 was dodgy but at least we saw a few glimpses of something resembling racing for a change. Bewley when the dirt is out wide is superb. Cracking ride in heat 15. Gresham78
Deserved win for the Aces. Cook did them a favour riding in Glasgow tonight as Brady put a shift in for them and returned a decent score certainly more than Cook would have managed. The Budgies will have to win on the road now to make up for this but on current form I can't see that happening. The team's just been too inconsistent this year - Rosco's not been able to get them all firing together unlike last season.
johnno4
Another great performance tonight, especially from Jack Smith. I don't know why he even bothers to come out of the pits, waste of fuel.

Literally. I'd be interested to see what happens if we miss out by that single point. We have a match in hand on Swindon and that's a home match. Wolves match's in hand are all away so we certainly have a chance now. If the Aces win there 3 remaining home matches then Swindon and Wolves have to start winning away from home. 4th place is wide open and the Aces, Wolves and Swindon all have a chance to take it. If Somerset lose to Poole at home on Monday then they can be dragged in to a 4 horse race for 2spots. Better to quote the true facts instead of making them up. That’s a poor performance from a number one so it looks like Belle Vue benefitted having a guest for Cook. SteveLyric2
Such a shame that Cook's Glasgow meeting at Ipswich was rained off!! Still it gave Kurtz an extra Abbey run-out before the Bank Holiday Monday fixture Edited August 17, 2018 by Skidder1
