Remember when 'The Rebels' signed Tony Lomas and Bob took to the track at Cowley to demonstrate the best way of riding the track and promptly broke his ankle! The pairing of him and Trevor Hedge were so powerful in those days. His passion for speedway in general, not least his own club Eastbourne, is possibly only equalled by Len Silver. Mike.Butler Posted August 12, 2018 Report Share Posted August 12, 2018 Last night's Eagles v Plymouth programme was a special Bob Dugard tribute edition covering some 8 pages or so with some lovely photos, memories and tributes with pictures of Bob on front and back as well. Totally agree and we at Oxford and White City also enjoyed his enormous presence.
