Are you suggesting that Ostergaard  made a deliberate attempt to cause harm to your rider,  I don't think there are any riders that would purposely try to fence opposition riders , and quite frankly I find your accusation  sick that riders would attempt to do this to one another. You have to face the facts that riders are there to race and incidents will occur from time to time,  Nothing to do with being biased  towards any riders or teams .

Many years ago Ben Howe fenced Ronnie Pedersen by carrying straight on the first bend and not turning left 1 inch. That was 100% definite

sorry just seen that this incident has been posted before

Pedersen had a bit of his own medicine then.

twice as nuts as his brother Nicki, with not even a tenth as much talent.

You weren't there though were you? Ronni Pedersen's trouble was his confidence exceeded his ability, but I don't think he ever deliberately fenced or otherwise impeded another rider. Ben Howe, on the other hand deliberately used his bike as a weapon, forcing Ronni to collide with the fence. I don't understand, to this day why he didn't receive a ban. Speedway is dangerous enough without idiots like him being allowed to act in such a way.

Read it again! It was the deliberate nature of Howe's action that was unforgiveable.  Ronni Pedersen was, to my best memory an awkward rider, and he was certainly guilty of some unacceptable moves, but I don't believe he was ever guilty of deliberate foul riding.

Is the "Danish lift" taught in the training schools over there?

Even the mild mannered ones like Morten suffer with that

Ronni rode with his weight further back so his front wheel was hardly touching the track down the straights. But soon as you hit a rut or unexpected grip you take off and become a passenger.

I was there that night and I understand why Ben took revenge. It was a highly competitive meeting with frank ebdon favouring the panthers and it all ending up in court with the judge ruling in Ipswich’s favour and overturning the result

I was there too and there was no possible excuse for Howe's action. If Jeremy Doncaster had reacted it would have been understandable if not excusable. It was nothing to do with Howe. Fortunately he seemed to disappear off the scene shortly after and good riddance! There's no place for such stupid behaviour in an already dangerous sport.

As did Ronni.

Howe retired through injury , he was one of the most exciting riders I have seen around Newport when he was in the mood.

Ben had an insane amount of natural talent and was a super quick rider

What he lacked was discipline and application and perhaps the self belief

Wonderful to watch in full flow but equally frustrating when it wasnt going so well

He was brilliant at foxhall too when there was plenty of dirt.  Whilst I don’t agree with Ben’s actions he witnessed pedersens spear of Jeremy as he was right behind him at the time of the accident.

Definitely my son's favourite rider.

Just in case it's been missed, and as he rode for both clubs

Dave Gooderham passed away recently, after suffering a stroke

Too young to have any significant memories of him but one of the long list of local riders that made the club at ipswich what it was as it established itself

Perhaps overshadowed by those higher profile stars but still every bit a part of a team - the type of rider that was (and still is) vital to making speedway work

That's just terrible news. Dave was one of the nicest guys i ever met, and i will never forget all the help he gave me when i started riding. RIP dear friend
