Yes and there would have been a minimum 5 to 6 guest each fixtures I for one don't take my speedway serious anymore still go every meeting at Poole win or lose happy days

Just to the east of us it looks like it’s going to be raining for most of the day. Woke up to something quite unusual. An overcast day. Hope they don’t over water the track. A win tonight will take us up to second in the league, a point behind Swindon with 2 meetings in hand. Is that the 2 meetings with the Robins, that you allude to? Don't think that there's any country in the world that takes speedway more seriously than Poland. Do you object to Polish teams win at all costs attitude? Baldyman
Why would I object to that? That's the idea of sport...to win.
Bald Bloke
I think the bookies have this one about right. Poole -24 or Leicester +24 at the same odds.Could be even wider. Edited August 9, 2018 by Bald Bloke
Steve Shovlar
The guests certainly strengthen Leicester. Auty and Wright wouldn’t have scored much. Auty would have been lucky to score. The replacements, if they gate, can both be quick when leading. Happy to take a 2 point win. But feel the margin will be a bit bigger. Bald Bloke
Allen scored 6 at reserve last time he rode at your place. I can't see him scoring any more against your current reserves.Probably more than Auty would though. Bellego should be an improvement if he turns up. Still a very big Poole win. Certainly bigger than it would of been if the meeting was yesterday
Steve Shovlar
As long as we see a meeting as good as the last two, regardless of score, the fans will all go home happy again.
Steve Shovlar
Hearing that Poulner Hill at Ringwood is shut due to an accident. The main way towards Poole from London and most of the UK. Just had a call from shaleshifter who is stuck in it from Southampton. His gps is saying an hour to get through but if the road is blocked..... hopefully no riders caught in it. Harris would come this way as would most Leicester riders. Fingers crossed they are already through it.
g13webb
Strange one this, Why were we forced to race 3 meetings at the start of the year on a Wednesday without our Danish riders , when it appears Thursday is now an option... Is this another new rule ???? Edited August 9, 2018 by g13webb

Steve Shovlar
Both teams were happy to fulfill this meeting on a spare week for Poole as Rye are no more. Leicester stronger tonight with guests. Everyone is happy.

Surely that would have applied to every club. Looking at the fixture list this week there were teams not playing, who could have been fitted in on the said FRN. Seems a bit early to start using Thursdays on that excuse.... Are we saying then, that the closer we get to Play-off's we can ride on any days just to get the fixtures in ???? It makes a mockery of the whole FRN shenanigans, and really puts the boot in on Rye House's battle of survival..

Fullmax
Would love to have gone to tonights meeting but work and a 600 mile round trip rules that option straight out .Really enjoyed our visit to Wimborne Rd a couple of weeks ago even allowing for the result. Great Stadium , track and Poole Quay itself was great. What more can you want !
