Because its a cancelled meeting being slotted in on a day of convenience for both clubs. Rye were due on Wednesday but as Leicester are riding at Swindon tomorrow Thursday was a good option, especially with a big crowd expected this time of year. Win win all round. Because of the fixed race nights it's hardly happened this season. Skidder1 Posted August 8, 2018 Report Share Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) Wright is a 2nd string on doubling up/down duty so the Lions get a guest (Bellego). Auty is a reserve and will be replaced by someone (Starke or Allen - depending on the source of the info?) with the same or lower average.
