There is a difference between confidence and cockiness.

Speedway is a funny old game, might be well to remember that.

Yes I am well aware but really let’s be honest here. It would be a massive shock if Leicester managed to win. A different story next Monday against Somerset.

Wright is a 2nd string on doubling up/down duty so the Lions get a guest (Bellego).

Auty is a reserve and will be replaced by someone (Starke or Allen - depending on the source of the info?) with the same or lower average.

Didn’t realise Auty was at reserve. Thought it was Robson and Mountain.

No Steve,  Robson 5.51, Auty 4.59. I share your prediction but this is speedway. Major shock if we lose with our current line up

Blimey, where are all you new Poole fans coming from? Anyone would think you’ve started winning a match or two!  :)

Looks like we have been lucky on this heavy rain coming up from the south. Just to the east of us it looks like it’s going to be raining for most of the day.

Woke up to something quite unusual. An overcast day. Hope they don’t over water the track.

A win tonight will take us up to second in the league, a point behind Swindon with 2 meetings in hand.

This fixture is everything wrong with the sport in this country...

Being in FRN with Monday & wednesday being the days. To then allow Swindon to ride Thursdays and now Poole having a meeting on a Thursday.

What is the actual point in FRN then????

It's a joke, maybe us, Leicester and Somerset should say f**k it. Let's ride Fridays and Saturdays respectively

Rye house would probably still be in business, if they'd been allowed to race on Saturdays.

They asked if they could and was told no. It's not a FRN.

So why are they riding on a Thursday?

because Leicester were riding yesterday (Wednesday).  and Leicester agreed to the fixture.

Anyway lets hope the track prep is similar to the last couple of meetings for this potential 'banana-skin' of a fixture.

Just as a reminder the Lions were leading upto heat 6 on their last visit, until the 8 5-1s kicked in!!

Bellego and Allen give the Lions a bit more hope....

Is it actually right that we should be riding tonight . I know Leicester have agreed to it and Poole are at full strength Leicester with two guest rider's one through injury and the other because of the double up rule .rye house went out of business because of fixed race nights so at the end of the day fixed race nights becomes a farce .but then last week a polish club raced on a Monday night so who knows ?

I was not aware that FRN can be ignored as long as both parties are in agreement, apologies for that.
