Big Al Posted August 23, 2018 Report Share Posted August 23, 2018 Wasn't there a situation a few years ago, when Leicester was "ordered" by the BSPA to ride a match at KL on a particular date after attempts by the two clubs to agree had failed? I think it was Leicester who were the "refusers" on that occasion but had to comply otherwise presumably cop a heavy fine? Can't see Buster giving himself a fine and Godfrey wouldn't go against his partner in crime. I'm sure the pressure and fines would come from the SCB. The Rebels have finally demanded that the Management Committee step in, and set the date. Somerset totally innocent here, the KL camp totally stupid. Had thought the same as the above poster, Mr Chapman leaves that kind of thing to his co promoters so he has probably had very little to do with it. So the meeting got called off on July 11th.Somerset offered Lynn all the available Mondays and Wednesdays.So the dates available was July 18th.That's it,one day was the only time both Somerset and Lynn weren't riding.
