Just an expression I have heard used about the riders in position 3 and 4. Normally the two best riders are in positions 1 and 5; the reserves are in positions 6 and 7 ; so 3 and 4 form the engine room. It should have been. Kings Lynn, though stronger now with the change, were dire at Poole, and only just beat us at home. Belle Vue blew this big time with a change of track from the norm and what looks like a manager cock up in heat 15. Big ht's 13 and 15 for Lynn which were very much needed.Well done NKI and R.Lambert. Good debut for E.Riss,paid 8 from the number 2 position not bad.
