ReadingRacer2017
SCB Regulations 7.4 Fuel and oil must be handled in the correct manner, particularly in a way that avoids spillage. The rules are there to protect the environment. Assuming they did pour oil from a can then this is totally wrong. You cannot ask riders to follow a rule for sensible environmental reasons then go against spirit of that rule. Dock them points and fine them heavily. Star Lady
FFS Dock points - unbelievable for something that happened after a meeting. Fine them - well yes in this environmentally sensitive age I'd go along with that but only if the money went to the Ben Fund.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
IF there is any fine it is more likely to be from outside speedway via council/enviromental agencies There is no justification for a speedway fine or points deduction
Steve Shovlar
A Swindon fan running scared of the mighty Pirates. Nothing to see here.

Baldyman
Think all tracks should do it if it improves the track and ultimately the racing. Just be a bit more discreet about it.
OveFundinFan
Cant believe how the majority of the Poole fans on here seem to think pouring oil onto the track, on purpose or accidently is OK. Totally irresponsible.

You Doctor a track after the meeting has taken place and there are no more meetings for over a week. 1
Bagpuss
Does this happenat other tracks? Hilarious how so many people spectacularly missed Robert Lambert's point on Twitter. Not sure if it was lack of brain cells or an inability to read properly.
Baldyman
I couldn't give a single xxxx about the environment, but I enjoy good racing.
2ndbendbeerhut
If other tracks have been doing this... not going to admit it now are they? Like years ago when some riders were soaking tyres to soften them... once others found out , in the end they were all doing it..... Big Al
Good to see that Robert Lambert has a good sense of irony and humour. Shame it seems to have been wasted among those who don't possess these.
Steve0
No reason to deduct points from Poole as they won the meeting. However, a large fine from the Environment Agency would be well deserved for inappropriate disposal of waste oil. Whether it helps shale to bind or not - you can’t just deposit waste oil in this way as it is illegal.
