dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Heat 8 was a very good battle and the track certainly looked fine Plenty of material - perhaps a little loose but far better than the majority of tracks seen recently. A huge improvement on previous seasons and a testament to some obvious hard work to rectify some long standing issues
poole keith
dont know anything about the legal ramifications but it does appear that most if not all tracks have in the past or still are doing similar see bob cs post,i thought his mention of mixing the oil into the water bowser was a more discreet and efficient way of spreading the oil.One thing though is that no track is doing it to gain an advantage but to create a better surface for both sets of riders and a better meeting for the paying customer

What was the score last night on a well prepared excellent racing curcuit? What “fast one” are Poole pulling? If every other club poured oil on their track after a meeting I wouldn’t give two hoots. Not interested. Only interested in what happened during the meeting. Never seen so many Lynn fans running around like headless chickens after their team got stuffed out of sight looking for any excuse and clutching at straws. Hilarious stuff! It was bootiful! Politicians answer as usual from you.So you aren't going to admit you were wrong then. You said the oil was an accident and it wasn't. daz9100
Do we know that it is actually oil? No, all we know is a black coloured liquid has been poured onto the track. Lots of assumptions and very little facts.

If that was a leak from the engine it would be in a line, not scattered like that. The tractor has ridden over the oil as can be seen by the tyre track in oil. If I saw oil hissing out like that i'd stop asap, not keep going.. That amount of oil loss would have caused the engine to grenade. Theres at least as much, if not more oil there than the tractor holds. It's not hydraulic oil either. Wrong colour. It wasn't there during the meeting but deffo looks like it was put down on purpose to me. Please do not make accusations you are unable to substantiate. As Nigel Pearson said in last nights programme ''The downside is, of course, the negativity of which there has been more than ever speedway related this year. Some people post scathing content about the sport and about certain people which could often be wrong and it's there for all to see.'' Yes I am a Poole supporter and this current team is giving us great value for money, dishing up some superb racing entertainmemt.

You should know better that that, it's Poole you are talking about... It's nothing to do with getting thrashed. We have been used to it over the years. For me it was Poole fans slagging off Lambo BEFORE they read his post properly. Then the tractor pissed it out lol .. Fancy telling someone to go pour oil on the track in front of the supporters ffs I didn't affect the meeting of course, but it must the next one otherwise why do it.. He was perfectly entitled to post that tweet. He did not say it was before or during the meeting at all. It's just Poole fans that can't seem to take a negative comment. And the attitude of most Poole fans, who hate loosing and being wrong. If Poole had a tiddlewinks team, Ford would search the globe for people with 2 thumbs on each hand.. waytogo28
I think you will find there is an -ist law about the people from Norfolk being "strong in the arm and thick in the head " and Norfolk&Good etc. Most of the inbreeding that brought this Victorian urban myth into the open has been diluted ( except in a very few isolated rural places ). Having been born only three miles out of Norwich I should know!

OveFundinFan
I don't know for sure, but with the water level around the stadium being so high maybe they would not get any dispensation re use of waste oil. Hasn't it been said that high tide even makes a difference to drainage of the track and area.
Steve Shovlar
Still got a big grin on my fact after last nights meeting. So good. The whole team has finally started to come together with no weak links whatsoever in the 1-7. It could have gone badly wrong with the Chris Harris crash so that’s a big one we got away with. Very nasty indeed and what excellent photos from the Echo photographer. Next up Leicester next Thursday at Wimborne Road in one of the home meetings we have in hand. Last time they put up a better fight than Kings Lynn, but I can’t see them getting anything out of the meeting. Three more points to keep the pressure up on the other playoff teams. Looking forward to it already.

semion
No harm in SS having a big grin around his chops. It’s great to see a club like Poole having to resort to Doctoring tracks for the fans to Enjoy gate to line Speedway. Realky amazing what pleases some people. Then again like SS he is already looking forward to next week. Says it all.
