Home debut for the new Glasgow boys and we get to see them both in heat 1, looking forward to an entertaining match with Glasgow winning by 10+ although it may be tighter if the high average Berwick reserves score well!

Looked a good meeting according to updates think heat 9 when we went 6 up was a mistake allowing a T/S in heat 10 hope Nathan is okay and an entertaining meeting tomorrow night a good effort from the Bandits but well done to the Tigers

Wow. That was a hell of a meeting. A terrific advert for speedway with proper neck and neck racing and a big crowd going absolutely  mental from start to finish. Greaves crash looked horrible - he landed on top of the air fence but hopefully he is not too badly hurt.

10/10.

Massive crowd and massive crash in an entertaining but otherwise unconvincing home win. Greaves crash was a whopper being on the end of first bend bunching. Unfortunately he looks to be injured and we are back to square one with our reserves unable to bridge the gap for a rider in the 1-5. For almost every heat win Glasgow got, Berwick packed out second and third, though our under performing reserve got the finger out in a couple of heats to make all the difference.

In his first meeting Cook has worked out that the inside line is often the fastest way round in the first half of the meeting and you also need to cover it on turn 2 from the tapes. Too often tonight we were beaten there with riders going for the standard throttle on, sitting mid to wide track. We look vulnerable.

Fantastic meeting, great racing in most heats , thought the Tigers were going to lose at one point, imagine needing a tactical at home, but it worked for us, Bomber unlucky not to get a maximum when he went to wide on bend 4, Sarge rode a stormer in heat 14, impressed with Gappmaier, Ashfield suits him. Berwick were unlucky not to get a point, hope tomorrow night is as entertaining, loving the Cookie/ Bomber pairing.

Great meeting, great crowd, great racing and the tigers rose to the challenge. 10 points from Sarjeant when up against 2 high averaging reserves was a great return.

Jimmy Sarjeant won you the meeting and not the GP superstar. Sums it up

First  time I can remember having to delay the start to let folk in at Ashfield they just kept coming in  it has got to have been a wealthy crowd tonight stand was full well before the meeting 2 hospitality box’s full not much Space in the forth bend enclosure and the stand there it was great meeting for the fans to watch had everything you would want in a match and Speedway under flood lights can’t beat it

Great meeting the track is now starting to produce.

Berwick really deserved a point, two teams make an entertaining meeting and they certainly played there part, on to Berwick now weather permitting.

Any word on Nathan?

Not heard anything would imagine a trip to Hospital after the meeting to get checked over would be on the cards.

Was a horrendous crash though and went into the ambulance on the board.

Nathan was kept in hospital over night for observation but he has escaped without any broken bones, whether he will take his place tonight remains to be seen.

Yeah just seen that, how is the weather holding up down that way forecast has improved slightly from yesterday's.

Always enjoy the trip to Berwick and if it is half as good as last night that will do for me but I think Berwick should just sneak it tonight.
