ray c
The Poole website has always said that josh was in the line for tonight ?
SteveLyric2
Just as a matter of interest, the current rules (18.8 Facilities) state that if 'no facility' then a SGBC rider with an MA of 4 points or less can take the place.
Big Al
The Poole team published by Leicester yesterday (?) has JG listed so presume this is per Poole's side as given to BSPA. So if the PZM/Lodz continue to prevent him from fulfilling his contractual and international obligations by refusing to issue the necessary permits including insurance, Poole seem to have a choice between r/r + 28 day ban, or drafting in someone like James Sarjeant for the match. (ref Skidder1). PS. I cases such as this, it ought to be a complete worldwide 28-day suspension rather than just the UK, otherwise the real criminals (the Poles) would be getting away with it. Also the FIM should be able to intervene and over-ride by providing the necessary permits and insurance themselves when there is clearly transgression of their rules.Ā

Unless he is riding on a Polish licence so Polish fixtures would take priority for Polish riders. He is lined up at number two so either he is riding or they are going to operate RR as they are already missing Andersen
Hamish McRaker
Aparrently Josh Grajonek was seen at Dusseldorf airport this morning waiting around the check-in area. Ā And the FIM has scheduled an urgent meeting for 29th November (it's the earliest date all 18 panel members are all available) Edited July 30, 2018 by Hamish McRaker Addition

By doing so they would withdraw his license to ride meaning he wouldnāt be able to ride anywhere. Ā Yes true but he could say he is ill then ride for Poole, many riders have done that before to English teams.
LisaColette
1 hour ago, Steve Shovlar said: Interestingly Poole site now has Josh in lineup with no mention of him riding for Lodz. Perhaps the PZM have seen common sense and relented. They had him in the team last night, they haven't ever said he isn't riding! Maybe it's an ongoing situation. I mean Matt wouldn't give Poland permission to use Jack Holder last season whenever they wanted unlike Peterborough, so can't see him being happy about this situation.Ā

Hamish McRaker
Poole call in James Sarjeant to replace JG (as a sub-4 CL rider). Unfortunately he injures his throttle hand when charging through the tapes at the first attempt to run heat 1, cannot continue and has to be withdrawn from the meeting. The Poole reserves, who happen to be both on fine form, can take the remainder of his rides between them. How's that?
