Bellego should go from 15 metres. But he isn’t.

That's what I thought....

Or is it refs discretion?

The track isn't good is it?

You would have thought it would have been completely soaked and a bit 'slippery' for a few races..

Going to be a dust bowl...

Have they not got the water?

From the 2018 regulations

15.8.1 If the Referee stops a heat, following an incident or accident, where the rider causing the stoppage and his team partner were in third and fourth place and a re-run is called with one of those riders excluded, the Referee has the sole discretion to order that the remaining team partner will start on a 15 metre handicap in gate position c or d (the opposing team does not change positions).

If a team is on the losing end of a 5-1 and one of the riders falls, the other rider should start from 15 metres in the rerun. Simon Stead should know this and been on the phone to the ref.

Mind you the ref could be the same geezer from Cardiff on Saturday.:icon_smile_clown:

Crikey watching a speedway rider shut the throttle off half way down every straight.

What is all that about Jack Smith?.

Looked in the mix until other riders were around him, NL standard at best, must be sapping any confidence he had, Rosco not doing him any favours by sticking by him.

It's at the referees discretion weather or not he penalises the remaining rider , if he decides his teammate was trying to gain an advantage by staying down

And that shouldve be invoked

Bellego was already 50 metres behind - awful decision

Fair call then given Wright locked up a little...

Not as if Morris fell completely by himself a big distance away from second..

The track is appalling . Don't care what you say about the weather. Once again shows how amateur our sport is. To have this much dust after two heats is a disgrace.

Is there a water ban in the Swindon area

What a joke, 38 minutes in and only two races.

Imagine watching this on TV as a newbie to the sport.

Why don't you offer your track prep experience then.

Didn’t think it would be possible to outdo the Leicester V Poole meeting from last week, but Swindon v Leicester is already in front with racing diabolical. Track is massively underwatered.

Poole v BV was also raced in similar temps but we didn’t see any dust all night.

Not sure anyone could do much worse to be honest. You've got to be honest its very poor

It's rubbish, but sometimes the riders moan if it's watered, it's always the fans who lose out, and go home with different colour hair than they went out with, should have been watered immediately before heat 1.
