Argos
Very interesting Statement on the Official Birmingham Website re the Buxton v Birmingham’s Fixture, Confirming that Lawrence Rogers was telling lies when he stated he had written Confirmation off the BSPA that Mr Flint Snr could ride in the meeting, hope he does the decent thing and resigns,
Mr Ore
A pathetically bland statement immediately overtaken by a reporr of last night's meetng at the top of their news thread..Hmm. Although I worked a year in Birmingham and attended every home match, and several away during that time, I am certainly not a fan but I trust that apologies are forthcoming from certain alleged Brummie fans for the abuse hurled at Jayne Moss in support of him, and the results of his actions. .Maybe I am just farting against thunder with that desire though. GWC
The obvious thing would be to dock Birmingham points. Disgraceful especially at a club where there was never going to be any chance of Buxton winning that meeting. If they had gone through the correct channels they might have been able to use Gary when it mattered against Mildenhall!

Guest GiveusaB
Get rid of Rodgers now! He''s a crook ! Over to you Brian Buck, after all you are our spokesperson ? Total disgrace! our great club is in danger of losing its integrity! I'm considering withholding my support whilst Rogers is involved! Racin Jason 72
Rogers is a well meaning buffoon. Got his sums wrong at Kings Lynn. Put together the worst team ever at mildenhall. Didn’t last long at Plymouth. Most succesfull job was at Coventry holding a stop watch and getting his face on the sky cameras as often as possible. But to be fair he does awful lot of work getting youngsters rides and must be applauded for that.
Argos
This is the same Mr Rogers that made an Official Statement that even if England qualify for the semi final of the World Cup Birmingham WOULD race on the same night, However 48 hours later made another Statement saying if they made the semi they WOULDN'T race, Its such a shame a club having its reputation tarnished by one person

semion
Mainman Lol getting found out again. Just amazing how many club owners still entertain him. Not only got his sums wrong at Kings Lynn but actually had riders pulling engine failures, etc to try to reduce averages in front of a paying public. What a p155 taker the guy is. Like Racin Jason says he did all that only to realise afterwards he had actually got the math wrong. Then tried to move the blame elsewhere. Lord Skid
Sounds like he's fully qualified for a BSPA position, why would you need him to get a youngster rides at a track, if you think you're good enough to impress a Promoter, go and ask him for a trial. teaboy279
It would now appear pretty clear that he lied to another club and then in a public statement via the club's official media outlets. With that said how is his position even still tenable.

adonis
I think it's a shame that the Masons in their first year as promoters ,have unwittingly let Rogers get involved , I know he is a plausible Svengali but it doesn't take a great deal of investigation to uncover his long track record of disreputable behaviour .and a fledgling promotion can well do without the sort of controversy he creates .masked by the cheery chappie that everyone loves act . if only the speedway fraternity were a bit more vocal ,as a few on here have been ,we would have rid ourselves of him long since , sadly though ,he will just go to ground while this all blows over ,and then resurface whiter than white until the next time he fancies making up his own rules
Devilman
I must confess that Laurence Rogers arrival at Plymouth totally disrupted all the commercial activity that had been developed and was a largely the cause of my standing down as Commercial Manager. He did his utmost to be seen to be the "main man" to the point I asked Mark Phillips when he might get his picture on the front cover of the programme after some eight or so meetings. Total lack of communication and a determination to change systems that were already working well without any knowledge of Plymouth Devils. At least £1600 of entrance money was lost by charging £10 "to speed up the entry" which was rarely a problem in all the preceding years. I can only recall one occasion when it was a problem but there were other factors at that meeting that caused a delay. I feel sorry for Birmingham, a shame that someone with "little man syndrome" can cause such havoc. Without doubt he seems to court controversy.
