Ipswich 2019

Recommended Posts

The Championship has been a great place to be - Ive really enjoyed most of it and wouldnt be at all unhappy to stay there

However I do think this year may be the right time particularly as it seems very likely Boro are switching too

All comes down to the terms and set up agreed at the AGM though and then its down to those in control to make the decision as they have to 'sign the cheques' so to speak

96 responses to an ad hoc 24hr poll on an unofficial privately administered page is pretty decent Pob

Be even better if all those came and sat with us and made some noise in the same way!!

Ramp up the atmosphere a bit

Which they are quite welcome to. May even be possible to supply them with a Massif horn....

Not a big fan of us moving up but will have to wait and see.

Guess this means with Somerset dropping down that we will get Jason Doyle to spearhead us.

Rory will have a decision to make and will Danny or Scott be good enough to hold down a heat leader role.

Id be going all out to get Jake Allen in as well and obviously Drew Kemp and possibly Nico

Whatevever, in the strange world of speedway. You never won the Championship though, good luck, is Scott Nicholls a possibility  for ya?

Why so salty?

Geographically The Championship has NEVER suited Ipswich. It has, in the main, been an enjoyable time though IMO but the time is definitely right for the move back up.

Dont particularly like the idea of a 38 point championship limit and the aim to reduce the strength/quality of the division either.

The timing is spot on.

Didn't mean to be salty (or sarky), your'e right about the geography, having the PLRC at Glasgow that year was a nightmare for fans of Ipswich.  The fact that you can go up is just another reason why the sport should never be compared to football, as I said good luck and I hope Scott is back at Ipswich..

That is a distinct possibility, but he may well fancy another year at Boro....

Change of ownership is a shock. Going up not so much of a surprise, probably the right thing for the club.

We can maybe look forward to a friendly (?) meeting against Lynn to start the season......

Same main sponsor for both Ipswich & Kings Lynn this year, what about next year ?
