I thought he said Drew was an Ipswich asset

Whilst it should make the prospect of him lining up for the Witches much more likely it certainly cant be taken as a given

i thought riders had to do 4 or 6 home and away official fixtures before they became an asset . maybe the rules have been changed, i dont know .

i do believe that if a premiership club signed a rider , he was automatically an asset of the club he signed for . no meetings had to be ridden for that club .

there is only one club ippo  have to look out for in the signing of Drew .  money talks . . say no more . win at all cost ..

Reading that, King is far too big a risk for me for next season unfortunately. Your number 1 is so so important, and for that reason I wouldn’t even consider him.

We’ve seen what happened to our season as soon as he was out, it completely collapsed. We struggled to replace him with riders of sufficient quality, and it cost us. When Schlein joined him and we also failed to adequately replace him too, it killed us off completely.

If we gamble on King, the man you NEED to be leading from the front and scoring double points everywhere, and he struggles badly, then that could literally be a season wasted right from the get go. We found it impossible to replace him this year, so you’d think that would also be the case next year.

We surely can’t be making that kind of gamble?

Whilst the heart says stick with Danny the head tends to agree with Arch Stanton

Any rider returning from such a serious injury is a huge risk

As was  schlien after his bad injury when crashing for Kings Lynn but that didn't stop Ipswich signing him at the time, that was a massive gamble.

Schlein came in just over 7 - Danny is near a 9. The gamble is much bigger as a result IMO
