Preliminary line-ups for Elitserien round 8

Weather looks ok for all tracks,  possibly a few drops at Vetlanda and Målilla.
Vetlanda - Indianerna will be the focus meeting.

Vetlanda - Indianerna (46-44)

Vetlanda

  1. Artem Laguta
  2. Tomas H Jonasson
  3. Leon Madsen
  4. Brady Kurtz
  5. Bartosz Zmarzlik
  6. Filip Hjelmland
  7. Robert Miskowiak

Kumla Indianerna

  1. Bjarne Pedersen
  2. Vaclav Milik
  3. Kenneth Bjerre
  4. Piotr Protasiewicz
  5. Anders Thomsen
  6. Victor Palovaara
  7. Ludvig Lindgren

Somehow Bjarne is still picked despite poor results.

Rospiggarna - Masarna (51-39)

Rospiggarna

  1. Jason Doyle
  2. Max Fricke
  3. Robert Lambert
  4. Jacob Thorssell
  5. Andreas Jonsson
  6. Tero Aarnio
  7. Samuel Masters

Masarna

  1. Linus Sundström
  2. Kim Nilsson
  3. Tai Woffinden
  4. Artur Czaja
  5. Antonio Lindbäck
  6. Emil Millberg
  7. Joel Andersson

Pawlicki is missing but Tai is listed, not sure if this is what they will show up with unless Tai has been paid.
Pawlicki was awful yesterday at Hallstavik though so Masarna are probably better off without him.

Smederna - Lejonen (44-46)

Eskilstuna Smederna

  1. Fredrik Lindgren
  2. Krzysztof Buczkowski
  3. Michael Jepsen Jensen
  4. Mikkel Michelsen
  5. Niels Kristian Iversen
  6. Pontus Aspgren
  7. Linus Eklöf

Lejonen

  1. Jarek Hampel
  2. Maksym Drabik
  3. Chris Holder
  4. Kasper Woryna
  5. Rohan Tungate
  6. Mathias Thörnblom
  7. Timo Lahti

Lebedevs have struggled and is now replaced by Michelsen. Smederna also gives Eklöf a chance to prove himself.
I am not sure why Piotr Pawlicki isn't riding.

Dackarna - Västervik (45-45)

Dackarna

  1. Greg Hancock
  2. Hans Andersen
  3. Pawel Przedpelski
  4. Patryk Dudek
  5. Maciej Janowski
  6. Oliver Bernstzon
  7. Joel Kling

Västervik

  1. Nicki Pedersen
  2. Grzegorz Zengota
  3. Peter Ljung
  4. Bartosz Smektala
  5. Peter Kildemand
  6. Anton Karlsson
  7. Mikkel Bech

Looks like a fairly convincing home win, but they all do.  Is the track any good?

Yeah Vetlanda should win easily and no the track is usually really poor. It's a very heavy track with lots of loose dirt/sand/gravel on top.
Ask @racers and royals about it. He'll tell you that I always complain about the Vetlanda track. ;)

Boy does he go on about it :D and i fully agree with him. Zmarzlik even struggles to pass round there.

Also the news about Tai is that a sponsor have paid the money Tai was owed and that means that he will ride tomorrow.

Przemyslaw Pawlicki likely suffered a concussion in last week's meeting and have decided to sit out this week's meeting.

Vetlanda won the title with Woffinden, Zmarzlik & Saufutindov a few years ago when Elitserien was on Eurosport?

If so that track is terrible, agree.

Next week we have a first for the Swedish regular season- matches on consecutive  nights on Tuesday and Wednesday  17th/18th July. they are "local derbies" against the same team home and away within 24 hours. The clubs i know are hoping for bumper attendances.

The TV match on Tuesday is  Dackarna v Vetlanda

The TV match on Wednesday is Vestervik v Lejonen

Will be broadcast delayed, couldn't do live due to clashes with live cricket, sorry all.

Any idea what time? Just in case the football isn't compelling.
