Beaten by a 4 man team we are carrying to many passengers at the mo, what’s the crowds like at the moment ???

Panic buttons being pressed after ONE home defeat!"FFS.

Crowds holding up well because they are generally being entertained and winning all but two home meetings this season.

If you paid your money and supported the team instead of trolling on here when ever they get beat you'd know the crowds are holding up just fine...

A remarkable result given the Comets were basically a four man team. That’s one decent side they’ve put together. It’s a shame it’ll probably bankrupt em

Ohhhh that green eyed monster :P   Shame you have to watch that garbage on show at Berwick week in week out ...

Bit of cheap dig, you know only too well with your team going down the pan

Nobody on here trolling mate just asking a simple question and making a simple statement which if I remember right we live in a free state so we’re allowed to do so, I’ve paid my money to watch for over 25 years but due to family reasons I haven’t been this season but what that has to do with you I dont know

With it looking possible that Newcastle won't have a home or away fixture for nearly 4 weeks, will fans forget about speedway, or forget about last nights result ? ;)

4 weeks???? Got to feel for the promotion how are they supposed to build momentum and get it advertised especially with the kids holidays starting soon, speedway as a whole is not doing itself any favours

It just seems the only time you rear your head is when they get beat, and as for wot it's got to do with me, well like you said it's a free state and am allowed an opinion...

im sure the riders have been paid since the remarks made a few weeks ago

but its also partly the fixture list to blame for the delay in payment as we for some reason arnt allowed too many home meetings early on so obviously any bills need paid from someones pocket rather than ticket money

a few rumours that a lot of bills were paid recently

even sweedish and polish clubs don't pay riders on time

luckily missed last nights horror show..... but we have been dodging bullets at home all season

I like ranting roy…. but his digs at us keyboard warriors a few weeks ago seem somewhat misjudged …… all we ever pointed out is the team is weak … the averages don't lie

with lakeside, peterboro, Glasgow and Workington still to visit us in the league it could be a somewhat of a depressing 2nd half of the season

this team is going places ……..  it certainly is Roy …. from 5th to 10th

still sticking with my original bottom 3 of redcar, Berwick and Newcastle

They've done OK at home so far this season. The odd 'blip' was bound to happen.

Not forgetting that the Comets are a vey good side and on the night Rasmus, who had been out of form to be a reserve, but came good on Sunday. Disappointing performance from our team with poor gating on a dusty track, but credit the Comets for riding so well. They have got some good results on the road and performed well again. Even the R/R for Proctor got 8 points,

rasmus has not been out of form, in fact he is having a great season and in the few home meetings that we have had, he has been brilliant , home and away he swapped places with mason and if rene had scored 7 or less from the home meeting v berwick , rene would have been @ reserve 7 days later ! worky rider averages are very close to each other .

it is a different Jensen this year .

I don't understand why we have our two highest averaged riders at 1 and 2??  They looked like they couldn't ride together on Sunday as they were both chasing the same piece of track.  Would it not be a better option to have Ludvig at 5 or 3 and Aarnio or Kus at 2.  I still finding Kus perplexing, fantastic in first 3 races (made the gate in all 3, I appreciate) and then solid last and not interested in last two, does he just give up as he cannot pass riders or what, but not very good from a Diamonds fans point of view to see him coasting around at the back and looking down at his machine (come on Matej your fooling nobody, we all know that their is sod all wrong with the bike!!).  The defeat on Sunday was and should not have happened, yes Worky are a good team but to be 2 mean short (and had two riders who didn't score) and still beat us shows how vastly under the averages we are, yes Rasmus scored a boat load but we have two riders at reserve who should have been able to match his scoring.  People may say that I am panicking after one home defeat, but the facts are we had 7 riders and they had 6 of which only 4 scored, we were the home team, now tell me that is not a worrying stat.

Anyone know why we are not in the Pairs, or have I missed something and I still don't know why Ludvig was not in the 4's, I appreciate that meeting is now history, just find it strange.

The pairs is the top ten (or eight) teams decided by combined greensheet average of top two riders from each team. Newcastle are eleventh since our top two (Ludde and Robbo) don't even add up to 14!

That's what you get with Kus,not a  surprise but still 3 race wins cannot be sniffed at.
