Catalan
Trouble is speedway sub let from greyhounds who have a long lease from council. The worst property developer is already in the loop.

Remember BoP have a commitment to build 14,000 new homes in the borough over the next few years. Block of “social housing” with a hopscotch rink and appropriate parking for the site should do the trick. poole keith
the stadium car parks were moved into the poole "development plan" by the council planners but not the stadium itself.been to a few meetings unrelated to speedway chaired by clarke osborne and would be certain he has not the slightest desire to own the site steve, however some development of car park area would presumably interest, believe the council are also interested as they are way behind in" new build" targets set by westminster,so could be mutually beneficial !!!! Swindon stadium was sold with the proviso it could only be used for sports, looks what is happening there with the same bunch of sharks that lease Poole. Steve Shovlar
Difference is owned by the charlatans and the other is only leased to them. Certainly I would be worried if Osborne managed to buy Poole Stadium, but its not likely to happen.

Probably get sold by the same lot who closed most of the Public Conveniences in the town and do diddly squat about the travellers camped out in the Borough. These cackers could be moved on easy. Tell them to go in 30 mins as they are on council property and the council reserve the right that trespassers vehicles can be legally damaged and hammers are going to be taken to their motor homes and caravans. A few getting large dings in them will soon get them to bugger off. Edited July 7, 2018 by Steve Shovlar

Aah but that’s not politically correct whereas putting the residents on notice that the Public Conveniences will be closed in “x” months and then carrying it out, is.. subtle difference. Also, they’re scared stiff of the Gippo’s..

However, an impatient developer might try to buy MF out of any “facilities contracts” he may have and thus remove a barrier to some form of fast track (excuse the pun) property development. I doubt there is not any value in any speedway club now, not just Poole.

Correct these so called covenants etc mean very little, they are likely to ignore the one at Blunsdon as they could Poole.

I don't believe its the whole carpark thats been included in any potential housebuilding plans - just the 'lorry' park and the part closest to the Wimborne Road buildings that will be demolished.
