moomin man 76
I'm not sure who the Finnish team will be fielding at Nagyhalasz, as Jesse Mustonen was hospitalised after his crash at Bielefeld in the World Longtrack Challenge. Sportowefakty still has him listed to ride though - news must travel slowly to them!

racers and royals
Line-up for Lonigo on Saturday is through - Adam Ellis and Richard Lawson representing team GB. What i still can`t understand is why there are only 6 teams in this semi and no Poland in the comp. Start time in Lonigo is 8pm UK time Edit i believe only 13 teams entered the comp- hence the 1 semi had 7 and this one 6 1 2 13 GHEORGHE Marian GHEORGHE Adrian-Sorin FRM TM: Petru Iancu Romania 3 4 14 ELLIS Adam LAWSON Richard ACU TM: Neil Vatcher Great Britain 5 6 15 COVATTI Nicolas CASTAGNA Paco VICENTIN Nicolas FMI TM Alessandro Dalla VAlle Italy 7 8 16 MILIK Vaclav FRANC Josef KRČMÁŘ Eduard ACCR TM: Milan Spinka Czech Republic 9 10 17 BERNZTON Oliver SUNDSTRÖM Linus SVEMO TM: Morgan Anderson Sweden 11 12 18 ŠKORJA Nick IVAČIČ Matic ŠTOJS Denis AMZS TM Franci Kalin Slovenia Edited July 17, 2018 by racers and royals
f-s-p
Saw a paper that said 17 entrants, two semis with 2 each through with PZM, MFR and DMU seeded to the final.

Ah that might make sense- we will have to wait and see. One team must have dropped out as it seems strange that we have a semi of 6 teams- will they run just the 15 heats ? In the 1st semi they just ran a straight 21 heats. Edited July 18, 2018 by racers and royals

Brian
Seen on FB that due to an issue Lawson missed his flight to Italy so Ellis races on his own. Edited July 21, 2018 by Brian
2ndBender
Reading the above posts re Aarnio, Hungary and Lawson, is it any wonder that no-one takes this sport seriously. As usual, you couldn't make it up....
