As I said earlier, that was before Vissing was missing. No chance once all the somerset team could take aride for a rider who wouldn’t have scored.

I must have missed that caveat on your original post

If you say so.

Has Neil replied to your text yet?

I talk to Middlo every week. Known him for a long long time.  Middlo will be in the bar after the meeting. Get back on your bike and come on back. I am sure he would like to hear your opinions.

Or is it too far to cycle from the other side of the UK?

edit. Just looked at current gs. So Vissing is riding in Denmark? Makes it game over over 2 legs now. Sign a rider on a high average knowing they can use Doyle and Holder. Then probably ditch him afterwards as job done. Vissing wouldn’t have got near a point on Wednesday.

oh well just have to win the league instead.

Looks like some of the Pirates were on bicycles tonight  :D

Mateusz Szczepaniak brought my bicycle off me earlier tonight.

Wasn't expecting him to use it so soon.

No chance of Somerset beating us on the night. You can bookmark this and throw it at me for the rest of the season if they come away with a win.

And we all get to throw this at you for the rest of the season

Somerset are not riding too well at the moment but could still beat Poole on the night or if they do not manage that they will win overall.

You were saying.  You will need to come up to Swindon to watch a decent team.

R/R scored 5......Poole wouldn't have gone through even if Vissing had ridden.

No but we would have won tonight at least. Think the team were beaten when they realised Somerset had been gifted another heat leader in the team.

Well done to Somerset who gave us the perfect lesson in gating in heats 2,3,4 and 5. If it wasn’t for Klindt managing to get up to second it would have been 4-20 in those heats.  Somerset left us for dead over the first 20 metres. This happened earlier this season but recently our form has improved. We have ridden quite well recently taking bonus points away from home. So this is a disappointing result.

Absolutely tons of dirt on the track tonight. Is that the problem?

At least we saw Pirates battle back from 12 down to take it to a last heat decider. Trouble is no Chris Holder to beat Doyle. Brady tried and rode well tonight but Doyle is world champ.

Woryna came good after two terrible first rides where he was searching for setup. Found it and was excellent.

The trouble is we have a team of middle order riders. They are middle order for a reason. A good meeting followed by a poor one. They clicked together against Kings Lynn, but there’s always two or three in the team having a poor night on a different night, so no consistency.

Heard rumours of a change for next week against Belle Vue. Have to wait and see.  Congrats to Somerset on their passage through to the next round.
