May is no big shakes as team manager he was not a lot better as a rider. A stern talking to would have sufficed. Instead he has shot him self in the foot. I cant remember seeing Garry May ride, but as a manager hes won: Premier League Champions - 2013, 2016Premier League KO Cup Winners - 2013, 2015Premier League Cup Winners - 2012, 2016Premier Shield Winners - 2014, 2016Premier League Fours Champions - 2014Premier League Pairs Champions - 2013, 2016 And Sam Masters won the PLRC whilst Garry was manager. Im sure there are plenty of teams that would love their manager to be as fruitful.
SteveLyric2
You have to have strong and successful management at any club to make the difficult decisions.

Aces51
Idiots can and do make difficult decisions. Unfortunately, they usually get it wrong. The trick is in making the right difficult decisions.
Aviator
It appears Poole had 2 managers in the pits at Somerset on Wednesday, so who was making the decisions and calling the shots. Was it the TM or, the Promoter!!! Clearly a breakdown in Job Descriptions/Responsibilities which I guess are clearly defined in some sort of Operations Manual/Document... Fair enough, his riding career wasn't so fruitful but of course the teams around him weren't that good, unlike the teams he had at Somerset. Catalan
I've got to be careful here as Garry is a good friend but he is such a good team manager. If you travel with him he will go through different scenarios that could crop up and is normally one step ahead of the opposing team manager.
