Steve Shovlar
Next Wednesday sees Pirates head up to Somerset for the Premiership A fixture. We have already been to the OTA this season and rode terribly to be easily defeated 52-38 in a terrible KO Cup performance. The team has changed since that night with Worrall and Klindt coming into the side for Shanes and a non firing Kildemand. Poole have improved since then and are a much more solid looking outfit. A narrow defeat at Monmore when we really should have won, and the trouncing of a very sorry looking Kings Lynn team show the team has started to show what it is capable of. What we lack with a big hitter we make up with in being a solid 1-7, who are all capable of winning a heat. With the added bonus of Woryna currently in a reserve berth. Somerset have proved to be very strong at home and I expect them to win this. However, I believe it will be a far more competitive meeting the the KO cup fixture and think Poole could come away from this with at least a point. Thoughts? SteveLyric2
It might depend on how fit Brady is?!

LisaColette
Nick Morris? Oh I think he rides in Denmark, or was that last season? Though hopefully Brady is fit enough!

Steve Shovlar
Certainly would need Brady to ride as he is a track specialist at Somerset. Hope his fall has left nothing more than a couple of bruises.

The last few times he has visited he hasn't ridden the track that well considering he rode for us for a few seasons.

SteveLyric2
Hans Andersen or Musialak would fit - if they're not riding elsewhere.

SteveLyric2
Not sure how the Rebels will be with Vissing and Covatti in for Wright and Jeppesen. The moral here is clearly 'Don't mess with Garry May'!!
