and almost certainly as usual not in riding order lol .it is it seems imperative in speedway that as much as possible is kept secret from the public(wonder how thats working out??)

Speedway remains the UK's Best Kept Secret. Mostly because the BSPA believes that if it is on Facebook and Twitter, millions will know about it and many thousands will come. Such a delightful dream. Most individual match organisers / club owners seem to agree with that and other marketing efforts remain very diluted or nonexistent.

With Lambert wanting to leave Kings Lynn during last winter, and not being allowed to, he is probably right for the picking at the end of the season. Just the type of rider who would look good in the skull and crossbones of Poole. Would compliment Brady at the top end. Matt should be making enquiries.

You aren't Kidding !!    I looked in 5 Daily newspapers and didn't see one word about  our British Championship.     And when you see some of the rubbish you read in these publications  you realise how poor our Promoters really are.......

But it is on social media Webby and anything on social media will be sure to collect a crowd. I mean more than 100,000,000 follow Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. Perhaps the result came out too late for the typesetters who laboriously prepare the next day's paper ( or do they do it from  smartphone nowadays?). It could be in tomorrow!

The idea is to promote the sport to the  public  and  while  newspaper are about surely that would be the way to go....

The Volvo Cars Poole Pirates will honour newly-crowned British champion Robert Lambert when King’s Lynn arrive at Wimborne Road tomorrow night.

‘Ruthless’ Lambert crowned a stunning week for British speedway by romping to an 18-point full maximum the British Final at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester on Monday.

Lambert’s triumph came just 48 hours after he helped Great Britain to a silver medal behind Russia in the Speedway of Nations event.

Pirates promoter Matt Ford said: "It's wonderful when a new star of the sport comes along and Robert being British makes it even sweeter.

"He has proved he can mix it with the very best in the sport and while his on-track ability is clear for all to see, I’m extremely impressed with his attitude off track, where I feel he’s handled himself with dignity over the past week. Let's hope Robert continues to ply his trade in the UK for many years to come."

Proctor and Palm Toft out tonight plus news of future Danish absences http://kingslynnstars.co/news.php?extend.30646

I just don't get why the management are so slow with these clashes when we knew Monday.

Abysmal way of running the club personally. With regards to the future promise, isn't that what was given before yet Danish clubs (rightly so) are still picking their rider's.

Personally, apart from Iversen the other Danes are replaceable and should be so and then we would be able to move on with a tight knitted team.
