Just rumours from the usual sources. They only complaints were two Championship teams who threw their toys out of their pram.

And it must have suited at least 7 others to vote with them to get it passed.....

Even given a choice which clearly was a "no brainer" ( over FRNs ) the BSPA got it wrong! No wonder some us truly just can't believe how they have not bankrupted their own businesses, in the same way they have brought UK speedway to it's knees. It will soon be a chalk mark on the floor, like the stereo typical thriller corpse. It won't take Sherlock Holmes to work out what went wrong.

So what is the truth then Phil?  Can the fans not know why our clubs are so affected by this decision, particularly my club?  And why can’t we all use Thursdays like Swindon?

Trees you have been going to speedway long enough to know that is against every rule in the book:P

Anyway back to the thread - anyone know yet how many Danes and others might be missing from this meeting?!

Well Lambert's definitely there, despite some people making out he won't be and that he will be riding in Denmark.

It was voiced on this forum, immediately after the announcement of the FRN,   that a vote was taken  and Matt Ford voted to go along with three 2nd division teams, to keep Thursday free for championship .  When Ford was questioned about his vote, he replied he voted to enable Poole to operate on Wednesdays...

Some say this forum is gospel ;      I can understand Ford's logic,   it was  typical of the 'I'm alright right' philosophy...

But why was something so big,  in regards to other countries fixture clashes,  that is was put to a vote with teams that has no bearing on Ist division racing  is beyond me...        Surely the BSPA should have detailed Mon and Thursday's as FRN ,  as was suggested by the FIM,   and then asked the teams which league they wanted to join,     not give  2nd div teams,  the option  of day and League they wish to race.

They sure made a real pigs ear of everything,

Can somebody show me the indisputable evidence where Matt Ford was supposed to have made these statements or are they fictitious like many posts on here.

BECAUSE the BSPA never disclose what actually happens at their 'secretive' meetings which its something that should change. It is a major reason why there is so much suspicion about what goes on behind closed doors.

They don't, bit we do get snippets from promoters.

Adams and Rossiter have both said Poole voted against Thursday's.

Matt Ford has never confirmed or denied it but I suppose he couldn't as he wasn't in attendance (apparently).

So who was the individual to cast the Poole vote??

Were promoters lying??

The thing is that fans get shot down on here for lying but the promoters of our sport really don't help themselves either.

Fans don’t help themselves by continuously making up a load of b*llocks with anything to do with Poole.

Anyone seen my hampster? I saw Ford grinning with a tail hanging out of his mouth........
