I’m not sure how his performance was a let down. It was in keeping with many of his awaydays this season, and surely you will have expected it?

Ludde rides as a #1 at home and without his efforts the league table would look sicker than it does now. He and his team mates appear to be what we can afford, so lets make the best of it. The entertainment at home this season has generally been good.

Grow up.

Hold on matej according to you was a bad signing well not a heat leader but you said we have one!! A tell you lindgren is terrible he’s a home track pony at that you’s all want to be called ankles!!!

Decent meeting...  Score line flattered Scunny a little.  Newcastle were good value and in Tero Aanio, they were desperately unlucky not to claim what would of been a deserved point for their efforts.

The track got better as the meeting progressed... the outside line didn't seem to work too well for the first half of the meeting, but that didn't effect the quality of racing. Jake Allen impressed for The Scorpions, whilst Auty, Garrity and Howarth provided good back up.  For Newcastle, praise goes to Tero Aarnio for another impressive EWR performance. Robbo, Kus and Morris all played their part... Lindgren, seen him have good meetings round Scunny but lately he doesn't seem on it. Expected more from Wilko too, proving Scunny were right to ditch him last season.

Pretty much a spot on assessment, although I might not 100% agree with you on your last comment.

Had it not been for Tero's puncture whilst leading heat 15, we would have got a point that we deserved.

As far as the Ludvig arguments are concerned, he is what he is.  Accept it, move on.

Tero was just about to be swallowed up by  both Scorpions when he punctured ,so don't think   Diamonds would have got their point anyway. All in all a good show by both teams. "Expect an announcement tomorrow" they said at the after meet conference-  Stevie back in the team from  next week???

No, it wasn’t a let down for me because it was what I expected.

If you’re “for real”, why do you think LL would score many more? Look at his scores away from home this season, look at his averages over his career and go figure.

If you translate this into English, I’ll reply.

The sensational Heat 5 from last night:

This race sums Lindgren up for me away from home.  He had a great lead after lap 1 and the Scunny paired shouldn't have seen him for dust, but he seems to just go through the motions away from home.  I like some have accepted that we are going to get very little from him away from home and will enjoy his home displays which are top class.

Great news about Steve. I saw him the other week without his knee brace & yesterday without crutches. It did make me wonder with the late announcement of our team/guests if Steve would have been back yesterday.

I think we all agree he’s not a no 1 and been put in a difficult position but the way he was passed in the ht5 and a 3 point score while the rest of the other 6 managed 37 it’s shocking don’t agree with the comments with regards to you know what your getting, this isn’t a Lindgren bashing as I’ve defended him plenty in the past but any other rider in any other team would be in for serious criticism for a performance like that and he should not be spared that because it is simply not good enough for someone of his experience,as I’ve already said he’s been put in a difficult position due to the team build up but it should not be used as an excuse to get 3 points especially as captain

Looked like we were on for 5-1 until Robbo made a MISTAKE. ;)

Maybe better to give credit to the two home riders and track specialists for a superb ride rather than slag Lindgren off

It was a spirited performance from Newcastle... LL Included

Rubbish! Tero punctured exiting bend 2, and the 2 Scorpions passed him bend 3/4 so I very much doubt they would have got past him with only one lap to go. Incidentally that was his 2nd puncture of the night. Garrity also had 1 as did Lindgren.

Should you not expect more from your Number One and Captain.

A Captain s supposed to inspire his Team mates  BOTH Home and AWAY!!!
