Recommended Posts

The 2nd leg of the Scottish derby for the KO Cup, can Glasgow pull back the small deficit and qualify to the quarter-finals??

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile number.

Thanks

Should be a Tiggers win , hope some Monarch fans come through to support their team and make for a good atmosphere

No chance of many monarchs fans coming through which is a shame as they will do well today. There 2 reserves will outscore James and Jack and Wells and the risss have all scored well. So a lot tighter than blobby is suggesting and being an afternoon match who knows what will happen, think Workington

And its the Monarchs who have the honour of taking on the Bandits in the next round, great result. The Glasgow promotion arent exactly known for their patience with under performing riders, maybe just maybe changes are afoot.

Shame about the money digs but utterly predictable unfortunately. Well done Edinburgh.

Glasgow have some serious underachievment in their ranks and seem unable to her everyone going on the same day.

I’m afraid it comes with the territory. Glasgow have spent big for a number of seasons now and massively underachieved. Worrall and at a push Sergeant aside none of the Tigers have any sort of affinity with the club and that really matters IMO.

Indeed but petty jibes when they don't win are unnecessary. It's good that a promotion are willing and able to invest in a club to improve it and its stadium for the paying customer.

Harris, Starke and Sarjeant have been very disappointing and should be doing better.

It’s just a bit of fun.

I think what the Glasgow promotion have done is fantastic and absolutely it should be welcomed. They do need to rethink how they build a team though.

The petty digs are par for the course if you only have the brain capacity the size of a garden pea it explains it to a degree.

As for today well done to Edinburgh they thoroughly deserved it and basically just wanted it more.

As for us were do you start, we have blown the myth that you don't become a bad team overnight right out the water as we in a nutshell have , too many underperforming at the same time.

I think this team will come good eventually as they have shown in fits and starts they are pretty potent ,but bottom line is you can spend what you want but it does not give you the divine right to win anything.

Plenty head scratching to be done but it happens we dust ourselves down and come back for more but all the snide digs should only spur us on hopefully.

Once again well done on the thoroughly professional job the Monarchs done on us today.

Don't think any Monarchs fans saw that coming, especially after it seemed all to be slipping away early on.

But speedway can be a funny old game - and Tigers fans must be wondering what they do now.

To be honest it probably creates a conundrum for the Monarchs' management too, as I'm sure there must have been some thoughts about possible changes even before today. But should they now put faith in this squad or go ahead and think about changes...?
