Hes grown up a year, and the body was still developing, but also I would think with the new GB partners, fitness and healthy eating have added to his physique. The fitter you are, the less tired you will be, therefore more alert.... and we all know a speedway rider has to be very alert. First tine i had been there and i was blown away by the place . The track is stunning and it produced speedway we all crave , but rarely get . A worthy winner , the sky is the limit for young Lambert . And watching young Bewley round there is a joy to behold . Beautiful weather , fantastic racing and the feel good factor returning to the future of British Speedway . Thanks to whoever suggested the Diamond Lodge to me . A good few fans in there and the craic and the beer fliowed into the wee small hours . I was there and it seemed to have parking facilities in place at various places.As for capacity they could price Tickets accordingly if they think they can sell out.Weather would be my only concern,but nobody can predict that. Riding from an early age , mostly in the Eastern Counties he attained a high standard and was a regular winner. He worked as store Manager in Dave Bickers Motorbike shop in Ipswich. It has been reported he didn't start speedway until in his late 20's, but he was no stranger to competition. An immensely talented Motorcyclist .... Scrambling's lost was Speedway's gain... That is a major factor because of them are not suitable for the ultra high powered modern rocket bikes. Processions develops easily in a very high percentage of races coming out of the 2nd bend 1st lap. Even at the NSS last night there were a handful of them. I think its noticeable in recent years how many times riders fall off unchallenged - as bikes have become more powerful, they seem to be a bit more unpredictable as well. MASNY will tell you that the modern day speedway bike is totally unsuitable for British tracks. Belle Vue, more like a typical Polish track, is the exception. Bagpuss Posted June 12, 2018 Report Share Posted June 12, 2018 Many British tracks are far to narrow going into and coming out of the bends, mainly because of the constraints of other sports at those venues.
