British Semi Final Leicester, Tuesday 15th May 19.30

Is Danny king riding?

Scott rides Leicester well, Bomber should qualify but his bike issues recently puts a little more pressure on him. Can't see it being a classic, qualification is the key and staying out of trouble.

I think that King, Nicholls, Harris, Lawson, Barker, Kerr, Newman and Ellis will qualify.

Thanks for replying!!!

Nicholls/Harris/Lawson/King (if fit) will be top 4......

Danny plans to give it a go

Level of fitness is questionable to say the least

Hope his pride and determination doesnt turn out to be foolhardy

Stay safe fella

Pleased for King. Was worried tonight would have come too early for him but safely qualified. British Final looks a really even field, if the weather plays ball it should be an absolute belter.

Really pleased for Danny a really nice guy i was  surprised Kyle Newman did not qualify he has a poor record in the WC has only qualified once as a reserve for a British Final. As for the Final it will be very interesting how the bookies price the event up i think Lambert will be favourite with Bewley and Cook next best in the betting.

How is it that he was able to ride in an individual meeting for himself but not able to ride in a match for his club the following night. Tai Woffinden once rode in GPs with a very serious shoulder injury but said he had to then keep riding for his clubs because he felt it unfair just to ride when it suited him. In such instances guest riders ought not to be allowed.

Surely it was better for his clubs for him to test himself in an individual where the only person to lose out if his fitness failed was himself

It was amazing he managed the rides he did and no surprise it left him unable to ride again the next night

Imagine he had ridden for Leicester ran a last and then pulled out - the comments wouldve been "why didnt he try in the semi to prove his fitness"

I understand what you say but I still feel that in such circumstances such riders ought not to be replaced by a guest rider.
