We could use Thursdays, Swindon are? What's good for one....

We could except when the double uppers have championship meetings at Ipswich Sheffield and Redcar and of course it affects the visiting team - Lynn need to sort something though and ASAP

The fixed nights and fixture planning doesn't just affect King's Lynn or Wednesday meetings.

We race King's Lynn on the 21st May and guess what, Cook and Fricke are in a GP qualifier that day. Assuming that Worrall is still out through injury that leaves us with 3 places to cover. Hans Andersen and Howarth are in the same meeting so the Leicester v Wolverhampton fixture will also be affected and only Poole and Somerset are not racing that night.

Exactly. So why not?

If we changed race night now we'd have NO priority on any of the double up rider's. Ruling out Jorgensen, MPT, Kerr and Proctor.

Although they would be easier to cover those and guarantee us to have Iversen and Lambert full time

A rod was made for their own back.

Thursdays should have been the race night. Top league should have had priority. Simple as that.

It's amazing the clubs couldn't see this coming, but the fans - once again - could.

The Lions usual race night is Monday and Bjerre and Anderson appear not to have any problems with this. Interestingly, there is no fixture on Monday at Leicester (British Semi Final on Tuesday) so it would have been possible to run the return leg at KL on Monday with full strength teams with plenty of time to prepare the track after any weekend stock car meeting.

Difficult to understand why this option wasn't thought of from the outset.

I thought the boss of Kings Lynn was the Chairman of the bspa, so why are Kings Lynn having problems with the final choice of their race night.

It is the same every year  the bspa do not have a clue how to run the sport.

We could use Thursdays when it suits us rather than have our Danes missing?

Why would visiting teams agree to this if they are missing team members to championship clubs ? Just so we can have our Danish riders ? It’s a total farce to have to run a so called professional sport in this manner - will King’s Lynn speedway survive this season? that question might be totally over the top but who’s going to go watch when what seems likely riders will be missing each Wednesday of both home and away teams .

Would be interested to know if anyone said: What about Denmark? when Wednesday night was discussed as one of the fixed race nights.

Knowing the BSPA they wouldn’t have the brains to think that one out lets face the Danes have only raced on Wednesdays for ever and a day

I agree - but how the sport is run you’d not be surprised if it didn’t even crossed there minds .

Is everyone panicking too soon. There has been no official news about Wednesday teams yet. Buster was quoted as saying NKI would miss only one more meeting (home?). Jorgensen was also mentioned but can't remember what was said.

Why sign MPT if he is now gonna miss a load of matches....surely Busted isn't THAT stupid?

It was said NKI and TJ will miss 1 more meeting and Kasper won't miss any more.

When speaking to Buster about the Chairmanship of the BSPA, he said he would complete his term of office  and then he would  move over and let someone else have all the problems.

No doubt he's had enough of the 'Old Boys Brigade..'.        You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink.....      Just about sums up the BSPA .

Unless those boys' Danish clubs have chosen their teams for all matches in advance right through to end of season, how can their UK employers know how many Wednesdays they will be missing especially when Wenesday is the internationally agreed priority day for Denmark? Sounds like complete horsesh**te to me if a UK promoter claims to know

Remember him saying this at the meeting in January. He did say it is hard work having to travel here there and everywhere, meeting up with different ruling bodies etc.And as you say he said there are still clicks that doesn't bode well for the sport and he preferred and independent person/s to run it.

Perhaps he ought to stand aside now and let Chris Louise run it instead. Have it, Chris!!
