Berwick v Workington. Championship Shield 5/5/18

Recommended Posts

Bandits welcome their long time rivals Workington and will be hoping to carry on where they left off last week. With the new averages Lindman drops down to reserve, where hopefully he will get amongst the points which would do his confidence good. Comets will be looking for a guest as Klindt will be riding in SEC meeting with plenty to choose from. Bandits to win 51-39

Reading the Comets website rider availability was a problem for getting a guest for this fixture. It is the only Championship fixture on the calendar and they cannot get a guest unreal. R/R will still make them stronger as Klindt not exactly brilliant around Berwick.

And your point is ?  Surely if a team think they are stronger going with r/r they will go with that choice rather than a guest , lets hope the weirdos and losers from the North West do a bit better than your 51-39 predicition :)

Suppose like a lot of fans I like to see 7 riders in a team but these things happen and the r/r facility is there to be used. Worked well for Berwick last season when we lost NBJ through injury. Weather forecast looks good so hopefully we get a good meeting tomorrow night. 51-39 :D:D

if a team has a rider missing , you still get 4 riders in a race , regardless .

Whether Workington went with R/R or a guest for tomorrow night both would be a better option for Klindt who has normally struggled in his meetings at Berwick.

think id have liked the klindt that rode tonight at Berwick tomorrow rather than r/r

You’ve obviously never seen Nicolai Klindt ride around Shielfield Park...

Berwick and Workington are very similar tracks

maybe klindt is a different rider thease days

close season not many Workington fans were impressed by his signing

but hes looking ok round Workington

Ain't looked around much to see things but where's Wilson-Dean? Morris certainly does enhance Workington as well as the RR for them!

Collided with Jye Etheridge last night and hurt his knee.
