mike1944
The is more info on that link you gave, does not initially look good though. Translated by the website not by me Quote At a speedway race in Mureck in southeastern Styria, a serious accident arose on Tuesday. During the competition, some riders collided at high speed. Two pilots had to be flown seriously injured to Graz. On Tuesday in Styria the local speedway season was opened with the "Murecker Oval". 16 riders from eight nations were at the start, but the race was overshadowed by a serious accident. A 17-year-old Slovene and a 23-year-old Slovak had to be flown to Graz after the crash with serious injuries by rescue helicopter. There is a suspicion of traumatic brain injury or suspected polytrauma
HenryW
The Ljubljana club posted an update on Facebook on Friday saying that Jan Pintar was breathing on his own again after being taken off of the ventillator. He was also being brought out of the induced coma that he had been put into. The full extent of his injuries still weren't known at that time. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1875153889196063&id=323342524377215 The news about the other rider is more complete. Patrik Buri posted that he had broken both his ankles and his left hand. He had some issues with his insurance company so couldn't get the full treatment needed in Austria but is now back home and being treated there. http://www.speedwaya-z.cz/?p=30131
