Berwick Bandits v Lakeside Hammers. Championship 28/4/18

Recommended Posts

Bandits will be looking to bounce back from last weeks shock defeat, as they take on a strong looking Lakeside team. Lakeside have a powerful top 2 in last season's Berwick hero Nick Morris and Richard Lawson. Reading reports looks like Adam Ellis will be missing due to riding in a SEC qualifier in Pardubice, so r/r or if they are allowed a guest with plenty to choose from tomorrow night. Weather forecast looks good no football so hopefully we will be treated to a good meeting. No prediction as I was a mile out last week :D:D

Was he in a Ipswich team a couple of seasons ago at Berwick?

A significantly improved rider from the raw talent when he rode for Ipswich

He is looking like he could be ready to break through to the next level too IMO

At least as good as Ostergaard now and on the up - probably more consistent too

From meetings I've seen at Berwick, Ostergaard ain't had a bad one.. And he's done it from the top 5... I believe Ellis has been reserve every time he's been to Berwick previously!

Hope Jye will be fit enough to ride following a withdrawal tonight at Armadale. We need points from John quick if we are to get anything tomorrow.

Very tough looking match tonight , plenty guys in The Hammers team that go well at Shielfield and the addition of Oyster- Card certainly is going to weeken  them , we'll need all 7 riders to on top form can't afford to carry any passengers. After last week I'm not going to make any predictions on a a score . Just hope it's a good match with so decent racing

I'll put my head above the parapet and say 41-49 with Ostergaard riding now. Lakeside top end will prove the difference.
