OldRacer
Lambert for Vaculik and R/R for MPT both significantly weaken Leicester. I could see them struggling here.
Fred5
Don`t agree, Vaculik has not scored many for you so far.
Lionsman66
Lambert can hold his own & rides lions den well. I'm sure he can score 6 or 7 points. The only Achilles heel I find is at no.
LisaColette
I could see this being a last heat decider with Leicester just edging it.
Lionsman66
Doyle will do a double figure score for sure. Big danger man for rebels is gonna be Bradley Wilson Dean

After all these delays & false starts the Lions now have a weakened team, not through Vaculik's injury but from MPT's, therefore unless Newman and particularly Sarj score heavily I can see a Rebels win. Slightly surprised it's not r/r for Vaculik and guest for Palm Toft but maybe rules prevent that.
Call me wolfie
I think its guest or r/r for heat leaders and r/r for second string this year
Mattfordfan
Think Rebels will nick this. Newman has an off night then Leicester full apart imo.

What puzzles me is why Lions were originally going to use Starke as guest for MPT at Swindon, surely that shouldn't have been allowed? As it happened MPT rode because his meeting at Sheffield was called off.

Probably due to the bspa allowing Swindon to race on a Thursday rather than the two fixed nights

stevebrum
Doyle decidedly average going by the scores. Great win for the Lions tho.
LisaColette
And everyone thought it was going to be a close meeting! Great performance by Leicester it would seem and Hans beating the WC a couple of times too.
Bagpuss
Thought Somerset would score quite a few more than that.
Bald Bloke
I had it a Lions win .But had it a lot closer.
Mr Bee
In contrast to the first meeting of the year a really poor meeting tonight. One semi decent race. That said, Somerset were absolutley terrible this time around, just as I thought they would be last month. The World Champion didn’t look interested after his first race when he got tangled up with Allen. Too much messing about at the start by riders, scratching about having a dig, backing up and warming the tyre....and they completly ignore the start marshal as he waves at them and does his best to get them up to tapes.
