Doyle will do a double figure score for sure. Big danger man for rebels is gonna be Bradley Wilson Dean

I thoroughly agree. After all these delays & false starts the Lions now have a weakened team, not through Vaculik's injury but from MPT's, therefore unless Newman and particularly Sarj score heavily I can see a Rebels win.

Slightly surprised it's not r/r for Vaculik and guest for Palm Toft but maybe rules prevent that.

I think its guest or r/r for heat leaders and r/r for second string this year

Yes, you're  right, according to this years regulations you're only allowed R/R at 2nd string unless both are missing, then it's R/R & guest. What puzzles me is why Lions were originally going to use Starke as guest for MPT at Swindon, surely that shouldn't have been allowed? As it happened MPT rode because his meeting at Sheffield was called off.

Probably due to the bspa allowing Swindon to race on a Thursday rather than the two fixed nights

In contrast to the first meeting of the year a really poor meeting tonight. One semi decent race. That said, Somerset were absolutley terrible this time around, just as I thought they would be last month. The World Champion didn’t look interested after his first race when he got tangled up with Allen.

Too much messing about at the start by riders, scratching about having a dig, backing up and warming the tyre....and they completly ignore the start marshal as he waves at them and does his best to get them up to tapes.
