Lukas
Bit of a nothing meeting really..the highlight was the real Scott Nicholls finally turning up in his 3rd heat (hopefully his turning point)..really fast and aggressive so this was great to see and would love to know what change he made. Barker was value for money as usual and Margaret jobsworth Vardy hang your head in shame for making a farce of heat 15..was there any need for that??.. Noodles
Well done to all riders & staff for seeing it through to the end. It was good to see the meeting pushed along, as it was in the first match. Barker, what a t**t

I am not a great lover of Margaret Vardy's refereeing skills at any time , but she was not at. fault for the antics of heat 15 , she followed the rules laid down , the problem was down to the Redcar team manager who should be the one to make sure the riders were in correct helmet colours . So well done to Margaret Vardy for spotting this.

As for Barker, nothing surprises me with Ben, you just have to laugh at him.

Personally I would rather see racing..im guessing the start Marshall's are not allowed to help so could she really not have raised the tapes to let the lads go to the pits and get them swapped and avoid all of that? Lukas
Even so I thought it was poor..Barker just wants to race his bike and all that didn't need to happen.

Blame their team manager then, not the ref. And there was no need to destroy the tapes, pure petulance.

Agreed , but still not the ref's fault, put it down to inapt team management or an oversight . , Yes Ben Barker only wants to race, and there's nothing better than seeing him in full flow but his actions cannot be excused and he was rightly penalised for it. Flappy
Starke definitely madeus stronger in my opinion and it's a shame he's no longer with us. I would've liked to see us keep most of last seasons team together with the odd tweak. Credit to Grondal again for another good home meeting. Big gap until our next meeting which can't help anyone

To be fair Nicholls just wasn’t getting out of the starts, he told me his Godden is fast enough around any of the tracks so the problem was just the start. After a couple of rides he had sorted the set up and looked much sharper, problem sorted.
