g13webb
That is, when you have to get up and go to school the next day. Appreciate you coming from Boston at a bad time of the day, but surely, you leaving 15 min earlier is not a big deal either.... My feelings are. Speedway needs to appeal to the families and to do that we have to promote a slick program eliminating hold ups and be finished early. The families then can go home to get their youngster to bed. Having additional junior races after the interval will always go down well......

Bagpuss
The problem hasn't been starting at 19:45, it's been the dragging on of meetings. Should all be done and dusted in 90-100 minutes.
semion
When JC was in situ. Those meetings during summer hols never seemed to drag on, always something going on. Still light at 9.45 etc. Young Buster was onto something at Saddlebow, sadly he never got replaced and a lot of the fun element got drained out of the Club. Still new era starts tomorrow. Blank page and all that. Dilly Dilly Bud

This should take about an hour so that leaves 30 mins to cover false starts, crashes etc so could and should be viable to finish a meeting about 9.15ish. The first race starting at 7.45 would be a start to this happening.

pointsmeanplayoffs
Big night for King's Lynn tonight, IMO its more important for the evening to run smoothly than the result! Entertaining races, on a well prepared track, with 2 full teams of riders, and races run promptly will get crowds coming back even if Stars lose...
