Mr Blobby
Good point for the boys, fantastic from Ricky, Erik backing him up well, poor from Josh needs to be better, good to see Joel and max scoring points also. Strange heat 15 selection from the home boys imo handing us a point. Edited April 14, 2018 by Mr Blobby

Don't think the outcome would have been any different if Bach/Klindt had been in instead of Jensen/Bewley; I was expecting a 1-5 in heat 13 from Wells/Riss which almost happened and there would probably have been a repeat or worse in 15 had Bach/Klindt been nominated. To be fair, Jensen was probably our best rider of the night and Bewley could do with any extra track time available.
geoff100
I thought it was wise to keep rene away from riss in heat 15 after the hard but fair ride from rene !
shazza13
The facility for an absent rider 1-3 by match average is a guest or R/R this is a 2018 rule change

scaramanga
as with the others in the same situation guests have been allowed but lets wait and see what happens id expect the bspa had given the go ahead for a guest otherwise it woud have been r/r or a nl guest but the main thing was it was a decent meeting much better than the cumberland open

Yes and that is what is killing the sport, pay money to watch a NL rider is cheating the paying public

Neila
Not a bad meeting good result for comets, meeting flowed well not a bad atmosphere also not a bad crowd, some poor racing no outside lines for passing IMO, need to sign BWD before someone else does, think we are gonna struggle in heats 13 + 15 at home and away, got beat 3 - 9 tonight but won heats 8 + 14 10 -2. A big concern for me and other fans I talked too is our next meeting is 3 weeks away, then a further gap of 2 weeks,

Bagpuss
I'd have thought it's common sense to allow a guest when the situation is out of the rider and club's control. Not sure teams riding under protest does the sport any good to be honest.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
You cant ride under protest re a team line up The protest has to be made in the days before hand and the decision is then final
Carlislecomet2
Some good racing from both teams - Ricky and the Riss brothers are always good value around DP. Rasmus was our top performer, very sharp out of the gate and very smooth - early days I know but can see him pushing for the number 1 jacket soon. With regards to the 'under protest' quote, why say anything, just get on and race. If we have to watch NL league riders trundle around again this year then that's it for me. Liked the updaters comment from the other forum regarding Matt, he is still a useful mobile road block. Special thanks to BWD, who was a very committed guest. Oh, my cheeseburger from the purple box was very good - not exactly fast or well organised, but very tasty.

Panthers89
Without knowing the law and how visas work, shouldn’t proctor of sorted this out months ago?
