So the usual Poole numpties still think Poole would have won that match if Cook and Worrall rode!!!

Showa I guess a huge lack of knowledge of the sport. Cook and Worrall would have needed 6 each for Belle Vue to win something they would have done very easily

Gavan why don't you give it a rest, cook and Worrell weren't there, Poole won , move on

Because of the press conference after the meeting there was no winners lap thought that was a shame . Still I suppose you can't have both ?

I think its a time factor Ray..

To lose by 10 points with a severely weakened team against a Poole team that most neutrals favour to top the league, sorry but I dissagree. If we had had our starting 1-7 I believe we would of won that meeting last night. My only concern at present is Rowens poor away form.

As for Poole, they should get better so long as their Poles improve to what their fans are expecting. Time will tell.

Its only early days , but Rowans form home and away is a concern, also I'd like to see more of Starke in future Aces line ups

Question.

Was it within the rules for Belle Vue to use Batchelor? Cook was absent and no facility should have been granted as it was not illness or speedway related injury. Unless the rules have changed it should have been a CL 6 pointer.

wouldn't of done any worse

Foreverblue is on the money. Poole would have won regardless. It would have been closer but Poole just got better and better as the meeting went along. Who is to say that Cook and Worrall would have liked the conditions? All if, buts and maybe’s.

OK Steve Worrall, top GP star and world number one, having knocked Doyle off his mantle, was sorely missed. He would have beat Brady no problem and lapped a couple of the other Poole lads. Cook, would have just taken the P. Would have gone through the tapes in all his heats just so he could go off 15 metres to make the challenge more exciting. Then would have passed a rider a lap to win by a straight. Belle Vue would then have won by 20 points.

In truth Poole were in a vunerable position last night due to virtually no home advantage. But got dialled in to win at a canter in the end. Steve Worrall is being bigged up by some on here as some superstar. People need to get real.

Don’t forget the starting gate is now further back and it will take a while for it to settle down and the riders to find out which are the best gates.

With all due respect to all it wasn't the best meeting and its a shame Bell vue were weakened would have been nice to see how we fared against the aces early on but it was what it was the new guys looked like they were starting to get the racing line as the meeting went on as has been said we could only beat who was in front of us and I hope Lemmo can keep Starke in he will not let anyone down

He didn’t finish a race due to bike problems for his only home match. He scored 8 from 4 at Swindon. He was poor last night but your opinion of his season so for (3 matches) is a bit out imo.

You really are thick as rubbish.

Never said Morris is a better rider than Kurtz

I said Morris in the top league last season averaged better than Kurtz..... that’s quite clearly a fact you can’t disagree with.

But as usual you twist a post to suit your usual crap you post.

I doubt very much Belle Vue will worry about going back to Poole with a full 1-7

Let’s not forget Poole were missing Chris Holder, who on his last meeting at Poole scored 13. His replacement scored 7. Let’s see what happens in the B fixture when both teams are hopefully at full strength.

Surprising amount of animosity knocking around for a match both sides will presumably look back on with some satisfaction. Poole should be happy with the win in what were evidently unusual conditions (I wasn’t there) and with new riders in the side. They should improve at home when the signings settle, while Kurtz has obviously excelled.

The Aces made a decent fist of it while clearly weakened by the absence of Cook and Worrall — Fricke and Bewley evidently the stand-outs for them. So plus points for both sides to ponder.

I don't have a "problem" with Poole because of anyone on here...Where have I said that?

It's the  way they use the rules and they ain't exactly loyal to the riders. Win at any cost, also springs to mind.

I suspect i'm not the only one..

I dislike Poole for the reasons I've said.

Nothing to do with anyone on this forum !!

You said people dislike Poole cos of what SS says/posts. I said it's stupid as I could dislike certain teams cos of a supporter but I don't, was just giving understandable examples tbh!

Only you would consider this - can't say that I'm surprised

6 mtrs mate, wont make a hell of a lot of difference . But it was touched on in the post match conference, which i wont disclose on here. Only those that were there will know what was said...;)
