Thankfully the ability of the BSPA to accurately aim, each time they shoot themselves in the foot ( as with ANY charges for children attending speedway matches ) means that some damage limitation takes place. Finding a new generation of fans ( having lost at least one or two generations ) is said to be vital IF speedway is have any chance of a "comeback" attendance wise. Children should mean anyone 16 and under and students with proof £5 .

They're all in the Star today. Berwick have the best prices.  Adults £15    Concessions £1 kids go free.  Poole prices for children are shocking.

Swindon children (11-18) £5

Somerset children (12-17) £5

King's Lynn (17 / 18 years) £10

BV (12-17) £7

RH (12-16) £6

Wolves (13-18) £7

Poole 16 year old WITHOUT  a student pass must pay adult price. Shocking. And what's this £4 for a 5 year old???

Adult prices I make no debate about.

Milking the holiday crowd?

Poole are the worst prices for children in the premiership  matt must

think he can do well enough without encouraging more families to come to speedway jmo

Thing is Ray,  its also a posibillity that Matts rent has gone up, the you have your insurances ie public liabillity which would not be cheep etc. then you have your general outgoings ie track maintenance airfence replacements and repairs kickboards replaced and painted shale then you have st johns to pay for the season Electrical work. then the riders want paying the list goes on. Sadly it all adds up. Thats why sponsorship is so important nowadays. But every other club will be in the same boat. Well no, because Matt would probably shove them out... Get out of my boat, Gordon Pairman is trying to fish..  :D

I'm not surprised there are no 'standardised' admission prices, as each club will have its own distinct costs, not least depending on whether they own or rent their stadia and what other revenue comes to them rather than to the stadium owners?!

Every club will have its own set of prices. You can’t compare Swindon and Poole because of a same landlord.

Each club is a seperate bussiness with their own overheads.

Admissin prices are not made up on a whim. Or at least they shouldn’t be. They should be at a maximum level that fans are prepared to pay, and without losing customers by being too expensive.

Was replying to a quote on Pooles costs maybe going up. If so Swindon would as well.

Having been in business for many years I understand that costs vary.

Also understanding if people are prepared to pay more than elsewhere, you'll carry on with that charge.

Definitely local business plan comes into equation.
