PHILIPRISING
IT is that time of the year again ... Speedway Star's "big issue'" it's pre-season special, is available from Thursday at no extra cost despite being almost three times as big as the usual weekly format. It will be available at tracks over the Easter period and from all the usual outlets ... newsagents, supermarkets, etc. And, of course, via a subscription. The digital version, online at 12.01 am on Thursday, can be purchased with the Speedway Star app for just £2.49 from the Apple or Android stores. Or you can call Dave on 020-8335 1113 and have it delivered to your door. 2
topaz325
Great, looking forward to it, usually takes a few weeks to read it all!!
Aces51
The pre-season special is always excellent value and a good read. I'd recommend anyone who doesn't normally read the Speedway Star to either download it or to buy a copy.
semion
Looking forward to picking this issue up on Thursday. Speedway season is truly underway when that hits the shelves. For those who have it delivered, get your pets well away from the letterbox for when that comes through the letterbox.
Aces51
When I saw the title of the thread I feared Philip Rising had fallen on hard times. 7

My Asda also had last weeks on the shelves (at 7.55am). Fortunately for me the lady had this weeks delivery in 7 big grey boxes and she searched them until she found the one with the 'Star's' in it (box 6 as it happens!). Took her a few minutes of her time. Great service.

teaboy279
No copies in whsmiths (lady says the delivery for many mags did not arrive today), Asda, or Tesco. In Ashford Kent. With it being BH tomorrow is there any likely hood of them hitting the shelves? Edited March 29, 2018 by teaboy279
blueherb777
Well done to all at SS. Hard to know where to start with so much to read

AND that is enough to stop you buying a 112 page edition with all the facts and figures you might find useful in the weeks and months ahead? 1
SteveLyric2
Excellent read this week. Having been away last week I've got 2 issues to get through as my alternative to the rained off Good Friday meetings!! :-) Just emailed my confirmation of the Star Subs Membership too!! martinmauger
Reading headline I thought maybe speedway was featured in 'the' Big Issue that is sold on the streets, peeps might be surprsied at the subjects which get covered. But my bumper 'Star arrived ok and on time, excellent issue as always, will take the usual week to get through, so far I've loved Davey Watt's Premiership preview, Adam Roynon on the Champs League, 'judge' Drury's take on the NL & Crumpie's thoughts on the GPs & competitors therein. Good stuff....
