Simon Stead Farewell Meeting

Recommended Posts

Giving just two days notice, it would appear that Chris Holder and Chris Harris have pulled out of Simon Stead's Farewell Meeting taking place at Owlerton today, having previously agreed to take part. As a paying punter I'd like to know why. Any ideas?

Harris pulled out of Glasgow Friday and this meeting due to impending birth of a child

Holder has unresolved visa issues and so is not allowed to ride

Bombers wife went into Labour on Friday night and had to pull out of the Glasgow meeting .

So im guessing that is a good enough reason.

Why so aggresive over it? Harris pulled out of the Scottish derby just before tapes up because his wife went into labour and Holder has already announced that he’s sitting the start of the season out due to ongoing issues and Poole have signed Kildemand in his place short term... Steady still has an amazing line up and I’m sure it will be a great meeting.
