Oh dear. Was it a premature call off? Forecast has changed and the heavy rain now isn’t due until the afternoon.

No i dont think it is Steve, the forcast is dire, and  with the amount of  rain we've had  and with the forcast as it is its the right call. I would be suprised if Somerset is also on.

Surely with all the rain around today it was the right decision. Having it in the morning doesn't give them a lot of time to sort the track out.

Not unless you have a dry day with a drying wind. And with the forcast as it is its the right call, it wouldnt be very good had Somersets fans travelled down the n was told its off.Glyn did well last week under the circumstances, and as i said, by 3.30 ish that track was very raceable, but then  it P'd down and that was that. and continued to rain all evening.

Latest met office. It has the rain coming in for the afternoon. Originally the heavy stuff was earlier but they are predicting it will be further west now.

all immaterial anyway as the call has been made. Don’t hold out any hope for tomorrow night.

Hasn't rained in BOS now for 4hrs, still think it's a long shot if it's on ! We've got Tungate in for Lawson. That could make it interesting. Hope the weather gods shine on us all. Have good season Poole, when it starts, eh !!!

Think Poole pulled the plug after seeing Somerset put in a decent performance at Leicester. They will be hoping to fit them in later in the season when the Somerset riders are not available so riding against a patched up team.

sometimes ratty when people go fishing they try to hard, and im afraid youve  massively overdone that attempt, sorry, good try but no cigar

I'm surprised JD hasn't called it off yet! ;):D You know what he's like when he sees a dodgy forecast!

Not fishing, years of knowing how Poole conduct themselves.

What does sometimes ratty mean?????

Forecast is changing all the time. No rain forecast tomorrow in Poole until afternoon, but too late now. Somerset might get away with it but the chance of rain in the evening, meaning if it isn’t called early there’s a chance of racing.
