Polish Extraleague/Nice Polska Sunday 7th october live on TV

Great match that. Shame I backed Czestachowa -8.5.  Terrific racing.

I'm in Wroclaw on Sunday 29th July and hopefully they'll be riding Czestachowa.  When are the dates and times confirmed?  Could it be on the Friday? If it is on the Sunday what's the best way of getting tickets as I know they can sell out?

Cheers in advance.

I`ts definately on the Sunday as there is an additional match on the friday the 27th  Gorzow v Leszno which has been brought forward from August 19th(because of the Gorzow GP)times and whether matches are on TV are normally only decided about 14 days before- the next round on the 10th June is not decided yet. I would register on the Wroclaw ticket website https://bilety.wts.pl/TicketsOnline/ and keep an eye out when they go on sale - certainly won`t be before early July i would suggest.

I'll be at the Gorzow v Leszno meeting on Friday 27th July as well as the Zielona Góra v Leszno match on Sunday 29th.

Superb racing on the best track in Poland.

(...) The most boring round in the SGP cycle is behind us. The BSI should think again and transfer this round to Czestochowa. Everyone knows that Prague is in the GP calendar only because half of the stadium is filled by Polish fans in white and red coulors.(...)  (sportowefakty.pl)

Attendances through from the weekend

Zielona Gora  15000

Wroclaw 10432

Czestochowa  14500

Leszno 8000

Impressive.  Usual practice in Poland to publish these rounded up/down figures which have always seemed a bit suspect to me.

I did notice that the Torun v.Leszno on May 18th attendance was given in the Star as 5000. If that is correct the management at Torun must be worried.

Down in League 1, all seems very far from healthy in Krakow. Their provisional licence to stage the sport expired on May 13th and home fixtures are currently suspended with the most recent scheduled, against Rybnik last weekend, rescheduled for July.

Also in L1 there's a row over Harris' absence from the Pila v Lublin match. Since this has wider aspects I've put a thread in the main news section. The BSPA withdrew Harris' start permission which let him ride in the Glasgow v Edinburgh match. The Poles are claiming that they have priority over our Championship matches that are not staged on Mondays or Wednesdays.

It's remarkable that such a weak on-paper team is doing relatively well. There's not enough big names in the team beyond Nicki for big-time TV.

It makes you wonder why gomolski and smolinski signed for falubaz and they don’t get a ride when they would of been pretty much gaurenteed at tarnow

Surely it has to be money. Of course if you're not riding that's academic. Have they gambled and lost? Are riders over there paid if they are registered and not used, just to encourage them to sign and be available, kike a 'retainer'?
