Beat the bookie GP prize competition 2018

Recommended Posts

Good to get 3 centre spreads right(Sayfutdinov, Pedersen and Holder) and another 3 within the spread(Pawlicki,Lindgren and Hancock) however Doyle did me big time !!!!. I am not too despondent  and will try and make things difficult in a fortnight`s time in the final GP of the season.

We have a record number of 11 fighting it out in Torun- all bets will be by PM to me and normal rules about editing before the start time will still apply.

Leaderboard after round 9 Teterow

Joe Beevers  £2350

Ice Scot  £2140

Phillipsr  £1370

Speedway sliders  £1240

Come on the skipper  £1140

CJ 69  £800

TNT  £755

Susans 1  £690

A Orlov  £630

Hilly  £280

You should have had more faith in that i had got it wrong and put £200 on- you would be nearer the leader going into the final round- with a small chance of winning -as it is now you have no chance !!

Am aware of that but when I put a large bet on him he cost me money, it is just a shame there is a limit for bets in the last round .

As we.have 11 left going into the final round how about bet as much as you want on just one rider.

Big wins or loses ahead so all can be in with a chance

Glad I added Doyle at the end

Sorry but i`m not changing the rules with 1 round to go- people haven`t  been betting upto the maximum in previous rounds when they could have done , so i think it would  be unfair to those who have been playing tactically from round 1

Apologies for the late posting of the Torun spread, but i am desperately waiting on news if Cook is riding and if not and the decision is made early enough Milik will ride instead and that will be a difference in points on the spread. Greg, Magic and Freddie are in the Swedish final tonight, so will probably wait and see if they all get through that unscathed. The spread will be posted early Thursday evening at the latest.

A reminder that all bets for this final round are by PM to me before 6pm Saturday evening. Normal edit rules will still apply up to start time.

I am off to the Hawthorns on Saturday to watch the Royals put a dent in the Baggies hopes of returning to the premier league at the first opportunity !!!!! this means i will not be around to chase any late bets and i will have to watch the final round on "delayed live" I will post the bets along with the full result on Sunday.

Thank you and so glad I won this competition on my 3rd try after being knocked out straight away last year. Thanks to IceScot for keeping me on my toes and thanks to R and R for another great competition.

If I don't win anything than my win goes out to remembrance of all the riders who have put on the overalls and have passed away this year and thanks to them for giving us entertainment through the years.

Kind regards

Joe
