Chadster
I've always thought that the fitter you are the more mentally alert you're likely to be, especially in a sporting sense. I'd agree that Woffinden isn't always a brilliant starter but at his best whilst he may not be first into the first bend, his sharpness of decision making means he's often firsy out of the second bend. I think if you win a title like Doyle did by making changes and to be honest he should be a double World Champion you know you cannot take any short cuts.If you put in the graft physically and fail i am sure it is easier to except rather than something in the back of your mind saying if only i had put in that extra yard. Rosco takes crap,Middleditch another one slated his managerial record speaks for itself that is set stone is this job going to be a poison chalice.Rosco has made mistakes we all do but he calls it right on a high percentage of times for me we have Woffinden,Lambert,Cook,Bewley,S.Worrall( if he is the same) not a bad basis to move forward with Rossiter in charge.Look over the years some riders/ managers have not seen eye to eye but do it because they are representing there country have pride for me i don't see anybody replacing Rossiter not on merit anyway. Never heard of Peter Adams.
Bagpuss
Really interesting piece on BBC Radio Norfolk's Speedway Show this evening about the two fitness guys involved with GB and King's Lynn. Listening to it, it all makes perfect sense and you wonder why riders and teams didn't adopt these methods years ago. Worth a listen ifs it's available on the iPlayer. The two heads are everything in speedway, the one on the shoulders and the one on the barrel, get those right you will go along way Healthy body... Healthy mind? You seem to think because every rider is not World Champion being fit doesn't work.. I think there's a slight flaw there. You've tried suggesting the Poles don't take the fitness quite as seriously.. which doesn't really help your argument given their lack of World Championships for all the talent they possess. Now you bring Craig Cook into it. Cook, a rider who has made the GP's, on merit. I wonder how well he'd be doing had he not bothered with being fit. I'll give you a clue... he wouldn't be in the GP's.

No point in trying to explain because as usual don’t listen, it’s my last comment on it, so as you do with all the posters on here you can feel smug with yourself that you have defeated me over this

There is no 'defeat', it was never even a contest to begin with. You are 100% wrong on this issue and are just being pigheaded about it. Have you not noticed nobody else on the thread agrees with you at all? In fact, you are so wrong, you make some of Starmans worst posts look positively intelligent.
