Don't quite share your optimism but I agree that the Lynn side has some good elements and could be a dark horse for 4th. Think it will need somebody to have their breakthrough season though. Why would they want to bin them off, Both riders are way better than their out of date averages and will each, easily put 2 points on their score. This situation could only happen in this country. where out of date averages are accepted as the norm... The issues this practise creates, is that it give the fortunate clubs who get them, a massive advantage when assembling their team. It is not known whether Poole would have selected the 2 Poles, had they been on a accessed 6 average, but if they had, they would not have been able to include Sundstrom in their side.,. It has the same effect as giving Poole 4 extra points to play with.... The mind boggles........

Crazy robin
Swindon gained from a 6 rider team to eventual winners due to Tobi not getting a new average like everyone else did at the start of the season & him doing even better than all fans thought by making a mockery of that decision. If Poole don’t win the league with this team then the promoter & team manager should hang their heads in shame & resign. Even Ronnie Russell & Jim Lynch would stroll the league with the Poole line up. My money will be on Leicester as the difference of Vaculik on a 8 not his original 9 allowed them to bring Hans in which is a great move. No value in betting on Poole. Yes the promotors are weak & deserve all the stick & money worries they have letting it happen.

Bagpuss
I assumed Kasper's average was a misprint but apparently not. Doesn't make an awful lot of difference as I think the other six riders would have been signed regardless but it would be interesting to know why he is a five and not four. Perhaps he has achieved more in Europe than I had assumed. Edited February 6, 2018 by Bagpuss
