IronScorpion
Proctor has an average from 2014 of 5.37 when he double upped. It is lower than 5.50 so why not use that. Some other teams are using old averages
Chris116
Rye House only have 6.78 to play with which means Chris Harris is number 1 and not 5.

Isn't the limit 42.50? Surely that leaves RH with 7.28?

Yes, you are right and I seem to have forgotten how to count! But both Harris and Nicholls have higher averages than 7.28. Edited January 25, 2018 by Chris116 Hit save before completing comment. Chris116
With all the comments about riders possibly having incorrect averages, surely it is wrong that the BSPA do not confirm a riders average as soon as the rider is declared? With it being left until all the teams are declared if a team has got the wrong information they could be left with a very weak team due to no riders of the right quality being available. That situation could have an adverse effect on the whole league and therefore the sport in this country which is hardly good news for the BSPA! Aces51
Far be it for me to try to make excuses for the BSPA but now that the SCB seem to have realised that they need to be more active in overseeing them it could be that the teams have to be authorised by the SCB and that the delay lies with them. Assuming, of course, that the BSPA have given them the information.
