Doners123
Hi, Could anyone please tell me the following.... A) How the conversion works for championship average to national if a rider rides in the premiership are the eligible to ride at any average in the national league or if their championship average is day above 6 they are not allowed to ride in the prem. Thanks for any help
teaboy279
In theory you double the championship average to get the national league average (unless an existing NL average is higher). So any rider averaging 6 or more could not ride NL. The rules change slightly between riders doing 1 league and 2 leagues. Doubling up riders need to meet certain criteria to do with averages and age.
Doners123
So does that mean hames Sargent would be on a 6.66 average ?! And Simon lambert a 9.12 average ?
Sings4Speedway
Good question. At what point does a riders old NL average become extinct and their championship converted average become applicable? Sarj for example is he 8.67 or 6.66? TurnTwo
Yes on his previous higher avg as was obtained after 2011
Islander15
The rules say an NL average since 2011 if its higher than his converted Championship average. So Sarj wouldnt be that cheap, but of course the rules have a habit of being mislead. Just ask about Hall, Roynon or Hurry.
