balderdash&piffle
That is really good to know. I'm wetting myself in anticipation. Perhaps they will be looking to establish a new track in Tenerife, plenty of volcanic shale available
moxey63
Will probably herald an exciting new era in British Speedway. Another exciting new era. Can't wait... and have now broken out in a skin rash through excitement. What'll it bring? The AGM and Christmas so near. This is the life! Hope they bring back the green helmet.

waytogo28
Perhaps they will be looking to establish a new track in Tenerife, plenty of volcanic shale available That is the best idea they might come up with because it will likely be a similar surface to the nostalgic 1960's shale at the Firs Stadium in Norwich. Ove , Ove ,Ove!!! Golden Helmet Wonderman. Proper handlebars and engines - now that could be a true retro revival

mikebv
Well they've settled on Hob-Nobs and Nescafe, so far. No Hob Nobs.... Been pre booked to be the biscuit of choice at another Conference somewhere in Europe..... Chocolate Digestives have come in as a Guest... It's OK though as rules allow them to bring in a product with up to 5% more biscuits in its pack... uk_martin
David Davies and Donald Tusk will be brokering the best possible deal to allow British Speedway to exit it's troubled past and regain control of the country's sport...not to mention pumping £3.56 per week into the NHS just as was promised on the side of the Kings Lynn caravan (that Darcy Ward used to live in) Edited November 17, 2017 by uk martin
Starman2006
It has to be this is the last chance saloon ............ otherwise Speedway G.B. is doomed! Did you not know, they are looking to kill it ?
waytogo28
Did you not know, they are looking to kill it ? Not so much kill it. More like putting it to sleep, rather than letting it suffer , struggling along for a few more years.
The White Knight
I must admit when I started this Thread I thought I might hear some News from the AGM. However - the replies so far are interesting, some amusing but I am surprised at the negativity - especially as we haven't heard anything yet. The White Knight
Surprised at negativity on this forum? I'm surprised Surprised at the amount of negativity yes. Is it warranted? Probably. I just didn't think anything would happen until any News from the Meeting/Conference was published.
